$39 for a killington ticket on Monday.. I wonder if anywhere else will spin the lifts. I've got to find some friends willing to skin if I plan to eat this winter

Never ran into esteemed local Rog (was looking for a RED CRV ooops) but did manage to score a ton of waves as well as ding my longboard proper. also saw a bit of flurries while driving back through the high points of I-91 friday night and STOKED to see these smuggs pics. can't wait!

friday was fucking amazing. was there with just a few others from 8-9:45am for low tide, then surfed the pipe for another hr on my way to work.

saturday am was just as good! glad you hit the rocks, and just with 2 others! amazing there were 40+ doods on it tuesday when it was bigger but shitty. love how that works!

if there's surf thursday/friday, i'll be in the water and skis will be in the closet.

Final reminder for the Eastern Snow & Avalanche Workshop this coming Saturday, November 10:
    http://www.esaw.org/welcome/schedule/

In addition to presenters from New England & the Daks, presenters are coming from the Sawtooths and Chic Chocs, for a total of a dozen different presentations – probably enough for a two-day event!

Registration opens at 7:30, and then the presentations start at 8:15, wrapping up at 4:30 with a short move over to IME for socializing and vendor displays. Throughout the day we’ll have raffles, with about 40 items ready to be loaded up (once I unpack from West Virginia...) from Shefftz Ski & Sports (i.e., my basement), plus a bunch of freebies at registration.

Given the big day and anticipated big attendance, preregistration is strongly encouraged:

And until then, just stay out of trouble, okay?

[North Branch “Correctional Institution” Supermax a little over an hour away on the drive back home the next afternoon]

Thanks for the reminder JS! Signed up just now. Solid event and schedule. Looking forward to seeing some of the ECRC up there and having a beer or two. Maybe a little skin and ski on Sunday? Hope the new boots are in by then.

    Who's going?

ML those pics are tough. Kudos to you for volunteering your time. And to all those down in NY and NJ - thoughts and prayers. Rough times. Be strong.

Finally up and running again in the bestchesta. 5 days without power was a lil rough but thanks to some leads and my skills I was able to my house powered up with a nice new generac. I was curious how things looked down your way ML. Things look pretty rough. We didn't get the water you guys got but trees are still down everywhere. next town up from me trees cut through houses like a knife. Constipated Edison is saying by the 9th the power problem should be all sorted out in these parts. I know sprite and EW are still with out power as of yesterday, I hope it's restored soon for them, they've been out since tues. JGB how you holding out?

BD thanks for the shirt and DVD. Our postal service got a lil slowed down but it was a nice treat when I lost power. I watched it a few times on my laptop.

Tbatt, sounds like you had a great night.!

Nice shots down in WV! Wish I could have joined but my skills were in demand this weekend.

A couple images from the Smuggs/Stowe area a couple days ago . When we left, about 6 fresh inches had fallen. Hope for more during the week!

EDIT: Sorry about the size...you don't care though.

Looks great, so just signed up... unfortunately, it'll just be a day trip, so no skiing for me Sunday. Time for a beer afterwards, tho!

Nmbrd, lucky you to get the genny. At least EW and SS have water and a gas range that was working on Friday, Such an awful tragedy to befall the area so close to winter.
