Now that is smart math. Well done.

And can we negotiate a cut? Think about it. It's like a sports team without the players . . . their nothing . . . Right? Huh? I mean what would all those lurkers do without us? What would POW do if there was no Rog? Think TGR will buy any of that? Now I finally get how 'll facebook became worth so much freaking money . . . What was I saying . . . ? I need a job. Carry on.

^^^Which makes Rog's contributions not quite 3% of the overall posts. Meh. Rog, you better step it up!

I mean, that only entitles you to a commission on $60 or so of GP's conservative estimate of the value of the ECRC. Say 10%, that grosses you $6, before taxes. Can't buy a rental property on the seacoast for that, now, can you? Though, apparently that could fund several nights more debauchery in some seedy Maine club....

In other math news, Rog, (says the math-dysfunctional guy) say your posts take an average of 1 minute to write up...and that is on the low end, I think....You would have spent about 20.5 hours posting here. $6 return on 20.5 hours of effort is not a sufficient hourly wage. Hear that TGR? Even if you only paid Rog minimum wage for his efforts, you'd still owe him about $142!!!. Rog, you may have a fair labor practices complaint here.

GP, please feel free to school me if my math is wrong (it likely is).

OK, dangerous territory here. There seems to be some agreement that POW and Rog could be one in the same but in reading this.....

    http://www.tetongravity.com/forums/s...he-Haute-Route

Might the OP be Rog as well? As in a THIRD personality? My head is spinning. Not sayin', just wonderin'.

    Please discuss.

BTW. It's in the gear swap but Endorphines 27.5, in box, Line Blends 178 (132, 100, 122 twin), freerides mounted by Iride on quiver killers. Never clicked in, never tuned, bought in plastic, never baked still in box, never seen snow. $1000.00 for some ECRCer. Boat died Saturday.

Ok weather guys. I'm reading some things on the intrawebs about Hurricane Sandy swirling around with some cold air to create a potential "perfect storm" in New England.

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/1...n_2003499.html

    Any input? Snow? Rain? Chaos?

At this point it is silly to predict anything more than the potential for Hurricane Sandy to approach the East Coast.
    And FAR from "perfect"
Some major operational models show the storm becoming extra-tropical and retrograding into the NYC area. This would bring substantial and damaging rainst to the northeast. With a cold front located to the west there is the potential for some interaction with cool air producing the potential for snow. Though with the easterly flow snows would likely be confined to western NY/PA under these solutions.
Other models- the GFS - show no interaction with Sandy until the storm core is well off to the N/E. This would result in heavy rains in Maine and some snows for the Gaspe eventually.

And what are the overwhelming odds? Nothing happens and no one gets snow (ie. from Gaspé to Western NY)?

i'm back to talk some more about Owl's Head. Did you guys know there's a "natural amphitheater" near the summit that has been and continues to be used by freemasons for "secret meetings" ?

I think KT's house is behind the closest left-most mountain, Mont Bear, which splits the border.

I didn't know. That sounds almost as wacky as the UFO meetings point on the top of Mt. St-Hilaire.

In the wake of a super fun Ullrfest (thanks to BD and the whole crew) I was feeling inspired to share some stoke from last season. Unfortunately, while I had a lot of good days, I didn't really bother taking many photos (or stopping for any either).

So, a few from last season...

    Deep in the Notch

    Bucket Out on the Highway

VTfree in his happy place, thanks to otto rd

    Mrs? VTfree showing off

    TC making it look steep

    Chic Choc Hut stoke

    See you on the hill...

    Very nice TWD!

Man...sure hope the fcst for next week is wrong. Major hydro issues across the east coast if Sandy tracks the coast and stalls near Newfy. Scary model runs at 0z and 6z of the GFS...and the euro has been scary for a few days now. Gulp
