20s midweek pass is only $199 (for the next 5 days, then goes up to $300) and I'm gonna either have Sun-Weds or Weds-Sat off (hopefully the latter).
Driving 2 hours to ski solo is pretty lame, though.
Can't justify a pass purchase but count me in for a ride share or two later in the season when I'm healthy.

I should probably note that I am already going to have a Seasons pass to Plattekill, Hickory, Gore and Whiteface. But for $50 more than a Mad Card, considering I'm only gonna have one weekend day off (only about 80% sure on this) for the season, it may be worth it? Especially since Hickory is Weekend only, and Plattekill is Friday-Sunday only.

ski a midweek pow day (or even few weekdays days after) at MRG and you'll know you made the right decision.
saturday's are usually frustrating, as are sundays til folks start calling it a weekend and head home.

Bucket - Not sure if my response ever went thru earlier today, save some days for da bush this season, tj has a place there so if conditions are better will be riding there much more this year.

Bottle - Never got around to making the fishing meet up happen this summer but definitely need to do so when the snow flies.

or save yer dough and come ski wide open terrain w/ no trees to dodge with steeps and everything. no liftlines evar.

if mrg has a good base, meaning, not a snowballz chance in hell that i'll ping a rock, anywhere, then i'll do a coupla dayz there fer sure since i ski there free. love the place on mid week dumps. great bump skiing. maybe we'll park a car on the backside and ski that. adventure skiing. been 3 years since i done that. takes an above average snowpack to pull it off in good form tho.

I already have a Magic pass and a house rental...I guess I meant I can't justify another pass purchase.

Collarbone is doing fkna awesome though. Surgery was last Thursday and I'm off the pain meds, out of the sling and can do shit like cook and put on my own socks!

Welp, I just got a job making 3x more than I did last year and have 1/2 the expenses I used to. So I think I can justify the expense AND come ski the rockpile.
Actually, I just sent one of my buddies a message on FB saying I'm gonna be crashing at his dorm at Plymouth State so I can ski MTW.

However, still on the fence of whether I'm gonna get it or not.

sounds like good math to me. ever since i was yer age i've made more and more but never really needed to spend more. streamlining. play as much as i want. just sock it away tbatt. 20k a year @ 5/6 % compounding tax deferred extra at yer age and you may not need to work much by 40. and could have well over a million at 50. just my .02.

    k, off to the beach!

didn't see it dutchman...yea will do the bush on scheduled ski club discount days if the stars align properly - or if i can score a voucher... just can't ever justify paying $80+ for a day ticket having a pass for up the road. i will lend you a nice pair of skis though if you ever wanna come over to MRG...and have extra boots in 29.
