It was fun. 34th month. Spied another project, too. Will go have a looksee tomorrow.

Smokey out there, eh? The sky looked like this when we went skiing:

And then the sun set all pretty-like on the peak last night.

Ankle is healing, I think I might actually be able to ski this winter.

Forecasts I have seen for the winter look a little grim for MT... Thinking about spending a good amount of the season in WA and France.

Saw that, too. But then again, last year's forecasts turned out to be a load of shit. If we have a winter slightly better than last year, we'll be doing just fine.

Last winter was supposed to be epic if you asked anyone in September. I'm not putting a lot of faith in long range anything.

Fuck snow, let's get rid of this smoke first.
We heard you in our twilight caves, one hundred fathom deep below, for notes of joy can pierce the waves, that drown each sound of war and woe.

Jup, Let me guess: 1: N. face of Cowan, 2. N. face of Sheep point, and 3. the Notch on Granite.

Sweet summer skiing, I just been out fishing some high lakes.

Edit: Castle mountain I checked your blog, so 2 out of 3.

Just received this today. If you can make it to the fund raiser or help out, thanks.

As many of you may already know, our friend (and Freeride Coach) Chris Rennau suffered an unexpected Stroke in April after a bike ride in Vernal, Utah. Chris was hospitalized for 7 days in Salt Lake City where he underwent several invasive and very expensive procedures to determine why the stroke occurred. Additionally Chris was treated with infusion services at home for 3 weeks after hospitalization. Unfortunately, Chris was not insured for this unforeseen event.

On Saturday September 8th, there will be a fundraiser at Scissorbills Saloon in Big Sky to help Chris pay his outstanding hospital bills. There will be music, beer, food, a silent auction, and raffle with tons of gear!

If you cannot attend but would still like to contribute a website has been set up to accept online donations: http://fnd.us/c/6Lbl1
Donating is easy, no need to have a paypal account. Simply follow the link to pay as a guest with a credit or debit card.
Additionally donations can be made at any American Bank branch.

Chris is on the road to a full recovery and is looking forward to getting back to normal life this coming winter.

Hey all. I am planning on going to the Spearhead concert at BS on sat and was wondering if sleeping in your car is allowed in the BS parking lots. I would rather not drive back to BZN after the show. Thanks in advance.

Don't think they care. There were about 80 RVs in the parking lot all last weekend for the dirt bike race. Don't think they give a fuck as long as it's not long term. I've had some buddies catch shit for trying to park their RV all season, but haven't heard of other any other issues.

I am not FZ, but a 306mm bsl is a 26.5 in the langes. So if you wear a 10 street shoe, maybe 9.5 that should be prime.
