Could be why I forgot about Leslie Neilsen, it's gotta be 30 years since I've seen that movie.
And no plans to see it again either.
The Thin Red Line, for sure.
Heat
Red Dawn!
Young Guns
Most Nolan movies have A+ casts
Point Break, obviously.
Lou Diamond Philips.
"All God does is watch us and kill us when we get boring. We must never, ever be boring."
Fast Times had a pretty good cast when you think about it.
mash, the tv show.
Good one... another great Sean Penn movie with a great cast: State of Grace
Not Sean Penn, but amazing cast: The Player
Seems like pretty much anyone who was around Hollywood at the time, was given a part in this.
Screw the net, Surf the backcountry!
Now that you mention it, Robert Altman had a real talent for assembling really, really good casts. He might have missed on a few, but not many.

"She was tossing her bean salad with the vigor of a Drunken Pop princess so I walked out of the corner and said.... "need a hand?"" - Odin

License to kill gophers by the government of the United Nations
Do you know what "nemesis" means? A righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an appropriate agent. Personified in this case by an 'orrible cunt... me.

Phil, you forgot Tom Waits. Love that movie.
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.
Royal Tenenbaum's has a great cast, for sure.
MASH would have to win in the "bunch of nobodies (at the time)" category.
For one that hasn't been mentioned - I Heart Huckabee's has Dustin Hoffman, Lily Tomlin, Jude Law and Naomi Watts being generally awesome, Mark Wahlberg being himself (a good thing, in this case), Jason Schwartzman not ruining it, a number of good actors in small parts (Isabelle Huppert, Richard Jenkins, Tippi Hedren, probably more) and a couple of before-they-were-bigs (Jonah Hill and Isla Fisher). And a cameo from Shania Twain.
We heard you in our twilight caves, one hundred fathom deep below, for notes of joy can pierce the waves, that drown each sound of war and woe.
Can't believe no one's said The Departed
Serious mix of bad ass talent. I thought Alec Baldwin redeemed himself here. Jack wasn't too bad, either.
