Back to the thread hijack, this shit DOES happen everywhere...Alta is not unique, you are not a non-conformist for skiing there...the only difference is, at Alta, you can be a dick in a passive aggressive way, hoping that someone doesn't call you out.

At Squaw, at least the assholes have the balls to just create their own singles line within the corral, passing everyone without consideration. Still a dick move, but if you call them on it, they either put up, or step back...they don't hide behind some "not roped off" BS...

I am now going back to conforming by watching March Madness, and hoping for upsets.

The lift system at wildcat is intentionally impractical and illogical, just so everyone can line up in one line together like little ducks in a row, and anyone who doesnt go out of their way just to adopt the more restrictive than neccesary social norm is viewed as an asshole.

I both lines were used on pow days; If youre coming from downhill that line will then be shorter and if youre coming from uphill, you can then skate downhill to the other line if its shorter. Better system in every way.
