Assault is usually not justified by line cutting. I don't want the guy to lose his job over it, but he took it way too far. A simple don't cut, and then heads up to the operator probably would have resulted in Luff going to the back of the line, or him finding out about the secret line and doubling his number of runs.

That said, I would be happy in a world where assault was justified by line cutting. Don't go Das on the guy. That will punish his family. You have done the ultimate favor to him by not calling him out by name. That is all you owe the tool.
