Oh my the glory of the developments in the gospel of the GSA. Clownshoe, you truly are a prophet. I wept openly for the past few pages since my last visit. So much greatness. So many turns. So much has happened in this saga! I was truly moved to see that snowboarder drop to his knees and the sight of the GSA. Did he turn to salt immediately or did it take a few minutes?

How long will he be in Whistler? How long until we have video footage posted here in the annals of TGR? How long until the GSA becomes self-aware?

I searched for the GSA on Whistler today too, but without my shovel, probe, beacon and harness I didn't think to venture onto Pony Trail and similar extreme terrain. Clownshoe, thank you for proving to any non-believers here in Whistler that He exists and skis among us. I now ski safe in the knowledge that he is watching over me - with His multiple GoPros and Contour HD, He is truly all-seeing. I will continue my search for Him tomorrow. I just hope that the promise of fresh snow will tempt Him into remaining here with us for just a little longer....

I don't think he was skiing with Extremely Canadian. When we saw him under Excelerator he was solo. Late in the afternoon we ran into an ExCan group at the top of Spanky's and he wasn't with them.

I had hesitated to post this picture, as my trembling hands did indeed mar the image quality. Also, I didn't focus it right. However, in the wake of Brother Clownshoe's Repentance of the Snowboarder photo, it is abundantly clear that this picture does have religious significance, despite its blurriness.

Hence I present:

Subsequent to this photo, the GSA shouldered his skis and walked off into the mist, and perhaps also the Westin. Like the acolytes depicted here, I could only look on with wonder.

GSA can be explained by science, or something like science, per what ever definition of science supports my point of view at the time. I refer you to a theoretical interpretation of quantum mechanics, possibly involving a cat in a box which is both dead and alive at the same time. Someone smarter than me could probably provide a logical proof for the existence of GSA via reductio ad absurdum. And that good enough for me.

You faith based nuts can peer into the Book of Clownshoe and believe all you want. I have science. And a tea pot.

your "faith" in something like science will never fill your heart with the emotional bliss that is GSA; if you start with heartcarving and grow your faith (along w/your skis) you may experience the ecstasy of which Clownshoe speaks.
