I had my camera ready, but sadly no sighting in the early fresh tracks line up on my way to work. Its gusting 85 km on the Peak right now (kinda AKish?) so my spirits are bouyed for a sighting in this prime high alpine training weather

I'm kinda surprised GSA has been spotted this easily...I would think that he sheds his "skin" after every trip and returns with brand new "Pro shell" protection each time.

I got daddy duty this am, so good luck in your quest for the GSA. Keep in mind he will likely be lurking in typical posing habitats, like the ski school line at an alpine chair, chilling in front of a mid mtn lodge like he's waiting for his buddies or pretending to buy epensive gear at a shop like Summit or Fanatyko.

Perfect, lure him in with some POV tech talk and then set the hook with a friendly gesture to show him the goods! Bonus points for POV of the GSA tomahawking Couloir Extreme!

Alpine lifts currently on windhold... there is no excuse not to bag the GSA today!

Wow. I'm late to the party and just picked up on this thread. I'm sure the GSA is a nice guy and all but after the gaper quote story and pics (especially the geared up workout pic), my iPad is wet from tears I'm working up from laughing so hard. Him and halon73 from last years 'Colorado powder dreams' NEED to make a video together! This has to happen

Behold believers! Seek and ye shall find! GSA on the Franz's chair!

Like the mythical snow leopard, the GSA is wary of cameras, and difficult to film in the wild. I can confirm he is now riding S7's.

I got some video of the GSA in motion, I'll have to check it on my computer tonight. More to follow...

    HOLY FUCK!!!

I can't believe I was in the city yesterday. I am so crushed at not sighting the GSA, but so buoyed at the possibility of finding the mythic animal.

Heading up right now, cameras in hand.

Clownshoe, maybe talk to the yellow jackets and have them be on the lookout during ski out.

I just want to post in this, already, legendary thread. No help with any sightings, but I am a believer and will keep a lookout for him in Norway. Hopeful that he will extend His travels and spread His gospel to the entire skiable world.

Never been to Whistler, but I hear the terrain off Franz's is excellent for AK training...

prased be the GSA and his prophet Clownshoe. I hope many of us can become prophets in the coming months so we can fill out the canon of GSA and start working on the holy gsa book.

When one GoPro films another GoPro from the back of the GSA, I'm not sure what happens. It could be very good, or very bad. Like when you die: Nobody has every been able to come back and report.
And why has no one done that sticker rotated 90 degrees?
    No longer stuck.
