Ticket paks this year for the Buzz(Ron) fam so we can choose our days of goodness and play at those other resorts as well people speak so highly of.
Buzzard will show when and where he feels this year. Mrs. Buzzard even wants to ski ALTA. The world is ending....

    Kick ass, Bob! Congrats!

I predict Solitude will be towing many people out of it's "lot enlargement" area.

Best opening weekend ever? I've grown fat and lazy over the summer, it's not fair to have to ski fresh pow on opening weekend.

Nice to meet you as well JBird.

Today was the best opening SoliSunday ever. 4 lifts running, fresh pow, and a large group of great people. All kinds of funny things happen over in the BCC when Alta and Snowbird aren't open. We had an infiltration of people normally seen in the more renown canyon. Tanner Hall was seen lapping the Eagle chair all day, he even managed to get in a run on the closed Gary's Glade (behind me). We had Altagirls and guys and even an Xover sighting.

What a great way to start the season!

Yeah, yesterday ruled. I think I counted our crew at being 16 people at one time. Lots of smiles and cackles for sure. Wish I'd have seen Xover.com, but I was probably gone before that late sleeper even made it up .

Well played. I miss Solitude right about now
I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

Not sure I ever hear X doing anything but banging on BCC, amazing he was anywhere but LCC. But haven't been around much in last couple years. Has Woodsey decided to move back to Utardia yet...we miss you man.

Today wasn't too bad, 6 inches of fresh. But, we need some new terrain, Eagle is getting a bit boring. I'm hoping for a Powderhorn opening tomorrow or by next weekend.

Yesterday was a fun day 1, did about 5 laps on lower challenger. Rode up with a patroller and based on our conversation I think powderhorn (just diamond lane) will open today. I'm skiing with kiddos today.

The little dribs and drabs of snow are finally beginning to pile up in the resort. In the last couple of weekends patrol has gotten Headwall/Evergreens open and pushed the ropeline in Honeycomb past C-rock out to the Pinnacle. Honeycomb is still old school style down to Eagle, no return lift yet.

It doesn't look like this yet:

But it's beginning to be a bit more fun...

Holy smokes, tomorrow is going to be beyond good! It snowed hard all day, the Summit lift didn't open at all.

I'm just hoping the LCC road delay doesn't push all the skittle thugs up the Big.

Today wasn't bad, tomorrow has the chance to be stellar.
