Recommendations for somewhere really nice within striking distance from Indo?

    First world problems...

So going to Indo (Bali, Western Indo) for April and May. The girl will join me for two weeks but we've already been twice (Bali, Lombok, Sumbawa, Nusa Lambongan) and I want to take her somewhere new, somewhere more beautiful and not so populated (more along the lines of what I imagine the Maldives and Tahiti to be like). I'd really like to take her to the Maldives but it seems like too much extra travel time and money to get there.

    Criteria:
    - Flight budget of ~$2000 each return, Canada to Bali costs 14-1500 so that leaves 5-600 for a flight from Bali
    - Ideally somewhere with surf but would consider somewhere for a week without it (she doesn't surf anyway)
    - More secluded beaches or resort, clear waters and excellent snorkelling, romantic getaway, blah, blah
    - Ideally a budget of $100/day but probably a pipe dream so up to $200/day
    - Bali and the other islands we've been too are great but I think anyone thats been will agree its hard to escape the people due to Indos large population

    Options:
    A) There must be some areas of Indonesia that fit the bill (off the coast of Java/Sumatra, perhaps somewhere on Indo's North coast), this would be the most realistic and cheapest
    B) Somewhere else in Asia (Philipines?)
    C) Was even contemplating going together to Tahiti (less travel time for her and a larger flight budget for me ~$2500), and then continuing on to Oz and to Bali on my own to hook up with a mate and then back to Canada

The mags in the know, what would you do and any specific recommendations?

    Thanks

No input on Indo or places further west but I could give some Tahiti advice if you go with option C. You might also want to consider Western Samoa, good surf, samoans are very friendly and the island is very scenic.

good fucking luck finding a romantic empty beach for <$200 a day without locals and a cheap plane flight away in this day and age.

I'd suggest some resort which evicts the poor brown people to make an ideal.

Constructive comments and realistic budget numbers would be appreciated.
