That prediction is for the Bitteroot Divide and the Seeley Swan/Flathead/Cabinet areas. We will get snow, hopefully consistently, but it won't be the amounts you will see west of the divide from this pattern.

3 or 4 feet by February would be a start though, I wouldn't scoff at that.

    ^^^^It's beautiful!

Oh, and it's definetly going to dump now that I am officially on the couch for the foreseeable future. Word of advice, if you value the priveledge of skiing, and the ability to walk up and down things, don't ever try and "push through" patellofemoral pain syndrome. No matter what the genius ortho pod or the hot physical therapist tells you, it's not a good plan.

Enjoy the pow and may your tips rise to the surface.

Vibes for you sir. Have had to take many weeks off due to pps, I think telemarking is less painful then alpineing, somehow... good luck with the recovery

Sorry to hear your knee is acting up, Tony. Hope its just a little bump in your road to full recovery. It's pretty sporty and variable out there, but it is skiing, so there's that. Hope to see you back out there soon.

Tone, heal up fast. Laid up on the couch while it is nuking outside is akin to some twisted hell.

Also, those hats are rad. I shall procure one soon.

Welp ... first day up at Bridger this year. And ... umm, yah. I didn't think it was that bad. I don't think I've ever seen it this bad this late in the season. They really do need more snow. A lot more snow. It was still fun and there were a few stashes left.

Rode the lift with a Patroller and their weather guy said that they are expecting a lot of snow. To quote, "He's seeing a lot of purple. A lot more than he's seen a while." That's good to hear, especially considering this late Winter Storm Advisory is only predicting 6 inches.

Amazing what a 15% inch can do in this season of scarcity yesterday followed by another 3" shot of creamy denseness this morning before Noon. Feels good to have snow under the whole ski base, not just the edge. Shot of my pal Amy this morning.Click image for larger version.

Would love to be up there instead of cunting up this fine thread, but the road back from gimpville is longer than anticipated. Glad to hear we're getting some good base snow. 1 to 3 inches of 15% every few days beats the shit out of 3 feet of cold joke on crust in my book. Bring it...

Gotta agree, the cream cheese was decent skiing and base-building too. Rolled the dice in South Bowl and came out unscathed -- it's fucking shallow out there though.
We heard you in our twilight caves, one hundred fathom deep below, for notes of joy can pierce the waves, that drown each sound of war and woe.

Bridger was actually pretty good today until the power went out to the whole canyon...just a couple minutes after Sluschmans opened too...bummer for the people stuck at the bottom. I was at the head of the horde of people who went right for the Fingers and had a deep run down 3rd finger.

They called it for the day...dunno if it ever came back on. There was a NW truck working on a pole just after the M on the way back into town though. Maybe related?

Yeah, sounds like a transformer blew down low, Whole valley was out. Sad day for BB, I hope they're doing alright financially, today was a loss for them. Sound like power kicked back on around 1:30, but it was already called a day. Tomorrow shall be great!
