    Some amazing places/pics in this thread. Heres a few from our neck of the woods. doubt it inspires anyone to come east, but, it is pretty quiet and contrasting to those open scenes from the west.

    Took a break from gimp central (broken tibia)..thinking of better times on Mt. Shasta: Aside from a 25 step carry through the Red Banks, breaking trail for 7,000' to the summit.
