Weekend warrior at SquAlpine with a handful of BC and Boreal days. I have never been to Rose, and would probably check it out for a day.

Weekend and school vacation warrior. I'll be at Alpine pretty much every weekend day that my kids don't have races somewhere else, because they'll be there for team. I'll try to get to Squaw too.

I'll be dividing my time between Squalpine / Gnarstar / Heavenly... so I'll be around on a lot of Thursdays, Fridays and weekends. Tuesdays only if it's a powder day.

Looking forward to another great season!
I went to a NOAA weather/storm presentation aimed at SAR folks yesterday and for what it is worth (not much I guess) - here is the "storm experts" personal opinion on that the weather will be like this season: "Mild la nina - very average snowfall amounts throughout the entire season with above average snowfall in Feb" No idea how he came to these conclusions - but def gets me crossing my fingers for Feb.

This season I have passes to Kirkwood, Alpine & Squaw - so that is where you can find me, plan to be up 3/4 weekends. Hope for a huge back country season also.

Will be at SquAlpine most of the time except days I am not in Tahoe which is probably 1/4 of winter days. Night skiing at Squaw definitely.

That there is probably 11/12 snow but we did pass though some 10/11 snow also on Friday.

Sorry we didn't get a chance to meet up last year after Avy 1. Pumped about one for the road and now just have to figure out which time. Palace of Fine Arts = moving up in the world...

edit: Did anyone check out the MSP movie? It's coming back here near my apartment...
