I think most of the fall blew away from the Front Range last weekend, but here's a bit of what was left:

dang... i like this "classic" peeper shot...

i'd love to see this shot even wider though... maybe w/ the tree's trunk leading up into that framing canopy!

I hear you. Unfortunately, logistically, I couldn't frame it up that way without going for a swim. But I did get a canopy shot.

That ones definitely worthy, just pull one of the early ones. That's legit, right? Petrics?

Even if it's not, I did it anyway . I dropped the "To Hell with Thirds" picture.

Hard to compete with you NE guys (probably the only time you will ever hear that on TGR), especially since all of our leaves have blown away.

I'll allow it. Whatever's posted at midnight 10/19 though is what I judge.

Unusual fall foilage. Giant puffball under a walnut tree. Walnut leaves in there too.

In order to properly convert this thread to a polyasshat thread to more fully enrage the liberal left frequenting here...... (insert latest democratic blunder of your choice).

^^ Thanks man, but personally, I like my snow and aspen shot from page 1 better. This one's cool, but in all honesty, it's gimmicky (but fun to work up). To me, the first one makes more of a statement and is a way more compelling image, imho. But, I think both are strong images in their own right or I wouldn't have put them up. I could see the one above being used in some sort of ad campaign for allergy medicine or something like that. lol.

Still a week to go, so get out there everyone and SHOOT!!
This is the worst pain EVER!
