Looks like snow the next few nights, but not likely enough to make turns, except on a glacier.

Seasons pass at Kimberley for me this season, since I am moving there in a few weeks. But also the usual cards for KH and Whistler. Might even get to Fernie a bunch. Also looking forward to exploring new backcountry areas after so many years of doing Banff/K Country and the Parkway.

Any Kimberley maggots? I thought there were a few who posted now and again.

a couple of years in a row (2005-2006) the season started with the bestest snow for september long. Eldo posted a couple of "season openers" from highwood pass that were superb. then you have t2c's october freshies...

    not all is lost

The best pre season turns I have had were last year on September 9th and September 22nd. Didn't even hit any fricken rocks. I have time my work shift to be home on the same latter September weekend...or I might just say fuck it and wait for the larches instead then come home.

Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.

They had a rail jam a few years ago. I recall Tanner doing some slides and flippy, spinny stuff on the hillside near SAIT.
