    A tradition unlike any other....The Masters

    not even thru the 1st round and on a day when you could go low...Tiger is +1. He is done already. I'm beginning to think he may never get it back.....really bums me out.

    I've had enough of Tiger and his fist pumps. He was such a dick when winning, it's kind of nice to see him losing. We also get to hear the wonderful, snooty voice of Jim Nantz all weekend.

    done already? through how many holes? You do know they play 36 before the cut right, and that if you bogey you're not automatically cut? He's at -1 now, sitting in 20th position, on the 17th... done already?

    In 1997 Tiger was 4 over through nine, was he done then? My man for the rest of this year is Ryo Ishikawa. How can you not root for him when he's donating all his winnings back to japan and the people that support him.

    Ya, I've got this funny feeling that you have absolutely NO IDEA WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT. I'm not that fond of the douche either, but you are surely jesting when you blabber that the most dominating golfer in recent history will never win another Major.

    He's rebuilding his swing(again) and if you knew golf, it's gonna get worse before it gets better. He's a major league asshole, and they always win. Just look at Sheen.

    Actually, i think he's right. I guess you could say the same thing about the Open Championship, but there really is no tournament like the Masters.

    Anything around par the first day is ok. The guys that are going 5-7 under will come back to the field come this weekend....IMHO, If you play even par, or 1 under per day, for 4 days you will be damn close.. I was a big Tiger fan, and even after his BS, I still watched him close, I thought he would pull out of it somehow. It almost seems like the passion is not there. At Augusta weird stuff happens, either way I will be watching

    I just meant that in terms of sporting events it's not even that older a tradition than many, many others... maybe you just meant unique in terms of the game of golf?

    nice to see Rory taking the 1st day lead, hopefully he doesn't blow up like last years Open Championship. Of the four guys I had picked only Kuchar looks like he has the goods to get it done. I was reading one of the sites that does ncaa basketball raitings had Schwartzel with the best odds to win. Played very solid today.

    Its not a backtrack as much as it is I don't want to have to sit around and wait until Tiger retires 30 years from now to get paid. My way just suggests a little more action 4x a year. If you're right and he returns to dominate you'll come out way ahead of your $1000.

    I'm sure Tiger will have plenty of top ten finishes. I just don't think he is going to win.
