Sometimes a great notion was sick, had a few other good laps up high in the fingers befor i had to catch a flight back to cali. Was deffently my best day in montana this season. tahoes gonna be better tomarrow though.

So thankful for this storm. The last three days were some of the best of the season for me. Couldn't be happier with the weather and the conditions the last couple days. Gonna throw up some pics when I get around to it. 100% stoked.

Today might have been the best day I have been up this season...but take that with a grain of salt, because I haven't really been getting after it this year. I'll be up tomorrow afternoon, probably doing a hike out to Wolverine at the end of the day.

Today was most excellent and definitely in my top 5 days of the year as well. I hadn't really had that much fun over on slushy yet this year, until today; it totally redeemed itself.

Tomorrow should be super fun as well. Way to go out w/ a bang BB!

Wow, such a great week last week, I missed today, but the last 3 were great. Got to ski alot of my favorite stuff and new stuff too. Got a ton of pics, mostly sidecountry, but I think I'll start a new thread.

Here is a cool sequence of my buddy Troy's first run down Northwest direct. He came in a little hot and it wasn't pow, but he ripped out of it Bridger Style:

The old ski hill was looking mighty fine on Wednesday.

I'm jealous, I didn't make slushmans yesterday or Wednesday. Would have like to hit some stuff over there when it was that good. We'll have to work for it now, but that could be even better.

And just as a courtesy note, if you have been skiing out beyond the ropes over there, never underestimate the stupidity of your fellow humans. I just can not believe what people do out there. Simply would not believe it if I didn't see it with my own eyes. This is not the first time I have seen this move, and I am begging to wonder if it's the same idiots.

    From the other day:

    Today, 4/4/10

Fucking brilliant, whoever put that one in. Stay on yer toes fellas, probly a good idea to watch your back (and front) at all times for idiots like this before you drop in. I mean, not to be the sidecountry police or anything, but are you serious?

    ^^^ wow. that is impressive.

and just a few more words on Saturday's sickness: hit the top of PK as Schlasman's opened. Got in 3 laps before anyone figured out it was open. Best turns I've ever had over there. Super deep.

Still soft early this morning too. Pretty fukkin cold for April, though.

    Couple pics --

    Dear Bridger Bowl,

Thanks for not making me regret driving 12 hours across flat prairie land and blowing off school for a week. Also, thanks to all the locals, bartenders, patrol, lifties, and waiters/waitresses. You folks are across the board the nicest, most down to earth people of any "resort" I've ever been to.

    xoxo,

There was a patroller out in the sun watching people ski Saddle because he didn't want to miss it slide this time.

Am I a bad person if I laughed when I saw the traverse all the way across Argentina?

Laughter and public ridicule are encouraged... Better now than during the inevitable multiple body recovery. Keep that shit in Mundy's bowl where you're only gonna slide over slanted rocks on your way to your 7 gay flat bowl turns.

Here's a fun one for ya:

said goodbye to BB as a family for the season today, tears were shed by more than one and some by those of us old enough that they should have long ago outgrown such foolishness but as the years go by and time seems to slip away at an ever increasing speed one can't help but try and savor and linger on the special moments just a bit.

Soon to be Mrs. Shred and I need a riblet porch swing so bad, L-B - heck, I'd even settle for Deer Park.

That would make a mighty fine wedding present from our former boss, you know?

Ahh shoot, now you're getting me all misty-eyed over here.
