^^^ Not great...Patrol will most likely be concentrating on the Ridge proper as that didn't open yesterday. There's always a chance, but not likely. Well over 2 inches of water in the 2 feet of snow, so a lot to deal with I'd think.

Skied the ridge today. My buddy mtskier broke trail and was first to the top. I had a fucking blaST! Also skied some Moment bibby's. It was my first time on a rockered ski and I loved 'em. Tomorrow Schlasmans. We'll be at the mtn early...

Well, yesterday was a sad day for moi.

Blew out my knee coming out of free fall (next to widow maker). Additionally, it was my second day on my new skis so I'm really bummed right now. Please continue to post stoke everyone. I NEED IT REALLY BAD!
    (thats what she said).

Will post footage later but for now, big thanks to the BB patrol, you guys did an awesome job and to every one else, trees kinda hurt.

^Just attribute it to my failure to succeed in getting a january knee surgery hat trick. Between the two of us we can go 3 for 3.

You'll have to come kayaking with me in the summertime now so you'll have another sport to do.

Is there an official diagnosis yet? Keep us all posted, and don't dwell on it! There are two sides to every situation, etc.

Hit me up if you want to borrow either of my bro models sometime, 192's with rocker (if you have somewhere around a 310BSL) or some lhasa's with dukes.
Ah, this is a kind and nurturing place. I expected at least a page of ridicule. I been taking out my Wateas with dukes that I have until now just been using on touring days.

They definetly float better in the thick pow than the squads and after today I really like em alot more seeing that they can stomp landings in the chunder like it's pow. Much happier now, but I'd still love to try those Lhasas sometime!!! Boot sole is 307, thanks for the offer single, I just might take you up on that.

Vibes to ya crazyskier, was liking your videos. Sorry you gotta pay such a price for your good times. Good seeing yall up there getting some, and thanks for the avy pictures mtcham, I really like to be able to see what is happening out there during a time like this.

Nice pics Dan. We are back in the Zoo and resting up. Took our final run down Slushman's(?) where you took us on run #2 and it was killer. Truly an epic day. Thanks for showing us around and snapping some pics. if you make it to Bend I'd be happy to return the favor.

Thanks for the vibes, I'll try to keep the un-stoke to a minimum but, ACL, MCL and Tibial Plateau fracture.

I did have the helmet cam on so it will make for a good party video, and now when I do the Point & Chute contest I can capitalize on the pity vote

Now I've got plenty of time so I can spend it trying to edit some of the stuff I've got.

And although I might be hesitant, there might be some ON3P 191 Cease and Desists available to the maggot with a 303 bsl... (if you choose to ski them, realize I've had a day and half a run so they are pristine and therefore my babies. So I may be a bit protective).

Note: I've got the new look pivot 14's on them so there isn't much room for travel for other bsl's. Also, beer and green make me less hesitant .

Man that sounds like a horrible injury. Must have been painful.

^^^^^^let us know when you get your surgery, we should have a little party for ya, supply you with some organic pain killers. I think my buddy that posts as hick on here bailed and almost blew apart his knee in the exact same spot last year around the same time. High speed chunder runouts will tear a maggot apart!

At least you were doing something cool, right? Bummer to hear it tho man.

My buddy tore something in his knee in that area on sunday just hitting a stump. At least you were hucking, and have video.

Missed the whole weekend here, but glad I could see some stoke! The legs are getting back into fighting shape, going to be up there wednesday, friday and saturday with lots of redbull and advil and mcdonalds in me.

Cham, that last photo is reeeediculous! HUDGE! Thanks for the beta.

And Tone, I will throw my lhasas in the truck on wed/fri if by the odd chance you happen to make it up there. Let me know if you are going to be up either of those days, we need to get around to making some laps.

^^ Crazyskier, I thought your crash vid was pretty disturbing when you showed it to me... just a heads up for putting it up for public display. I'm sure most of your other footy would be ass-kickin' in the point & chute.

Definitely a surgery party is in order... maybe we could have it at my place so you can rescue your ON3P's from my ski closet.

Vibes dude. Based on your skis, I'm guessing that you're the guy I chatted up in the lift line on Saturday. Sorry to hear you won't be riding your C&D's for a while.
We heard you in our twilight caves, one hundred fathom deep below, for notes of joy can pierce the waves, that drown each sound of war and woe.

I was up at Bridger this morning and looks like there was a BIG slide on the NE aspect of Saddle. The fracture was maybe 300 feet below the summit and propagated along the entire face.

Pretty much a steady stream of SAR vehicles going up as I went down. Hope it was just a natural and nobody got caught in it. The patrol closed the fingers/ridge/slushman's, but I'm unsure if they opened slushman's earlier.

I was just walking my dog over by the fairgrounds and saw a ton of cars by the SAR shed, guess i know why! It sounds like no one was caught, i hope that's the case.

since i too am laid up for a few weeks, if anyone wants to check out my blizzard titan kreitler pro models let me know. bsl shouldnt matter, as long as you fit a large duke. the skis can be had cheap on BC.com and untracked.com, so if you miss the days of old school GS skis and wonder what your old atomic red sleds would be like twice as wide, check them out. 119 mm underfoot and a 58m turn radius, traditional camber, no sidecut.
