x1000. Check your landings. They are either deep and forgiving or slid out. Took a major knee to jaw uppercut today. Looks deceivingly soft.

But I have gotta say, first tracks down northwest did not suck!

Slushmans will be good tomorrow if you can get out early, and it hasnt been bombed.

Everything I skied that had been bombed turned into hardpack with a high density slough runout.

Slushman's was $$$ this morning...opened early at 9:30 and made two laps in the sun of all things with no line until folks wandered over a little later...standing in a 15 minute or so line for #3 was still well worth the wait...snow was nice and dense enough to cover things up but not too heavy as to inhibit speed and flow. Had a great run with snowboarding Schlasman's liftie Alex and terrain park Josh down the Bitter End boundary rib for the daily vid. Pic of a random gal enjoying the morning:

Was out Monday...was all very nice. Northwest was a lot of fun, so was Peter's Point...I'm sure today on Schlasman's was awesome. More pics of today?

Very good laps out south today. Glad I went.

Not as sketchy as it looks:

    Some really awesome runs.

    Crosspost from transceiver rant thread.

Went to south america for the first time today, starting to see why every other post from tone has photos from that area.

(Same disclaimer as usual: I suck, I punch air, and I say dumb things).

Nice line man, you picked a good spot to air that bottom part. Some flat landings to be had over there.

Might as well ski it up while it's good out there, if we don't get it the sun and wind surely will!

I was more scared that I was going to land on a tree.

    All's well that ends well.

No more stoke? These guys are stoked. Hard to get bored of meadow skipping when the pow is so good.

    Matt:

    Nate:

    Ryan:

Thanks guys for enabling my addiction for another day.

EDIT: Strong skiing on the daily vid. If I could ski like that, I wouldn't need pow.

Here is some stoke from the last couple weekends. Not much, but I like playing with my new toy.

Super cool looking cloud inversion today, had to head above mid-mountain to bask in the blue sky and sunshine...and one of Jairo in lower Sometimes via Madman's and the Tits traverse.

went and skid revolving door first lap then headed a little farther north and hit wolverine yesterday. alot more snow over that way then expected!!! took two laps on lower saddle with an exit through luge both times, it was so untouched we had to go back! << always scoped it from the lift but never committed to going that low cause theres some gnarly 150ft+ cliffs if you go to far. zero tracks in there before we went in. very smooth! oh yea and ended the day by wadding it off a stupid little cliff in mundys and loosing one of my skis....... had to ski all the way down on one stick. by buddy Shane being the friend that he is took a metal detector up there today and found it lucky!

ill be up this coming weekend if anybody wants to ski proab Sunday and Monday? TLD full face, red jacket, white pants, and JJ's.

is that POV above from WAAY South? below saddle? dont recognize.

the one on middle saddle peak sounded large,
Saw that one skinning from down low on Monday, looked to be a pretty good width but not that deep. No debris in the runout at the bottom, I'm sure somebody got the shit scared outta them though. Was there another one on Tuesday?

^^^Not my pic, but I guess that 9% 6 inches and a little wind were the flakes that broke the facets back on that slope. I'd hate to find out which others are at that point, that's enough of an indicator for me. Now with buried surface hoar lurking, it's going to get interesting if we actually get more snow. The Bridger Gully Freeride is starting to sound more lucrative.

Does anyone have a picture of Revolving Door looking up? I know that there was a slide over the weekend that looked like it ran on Sunday. We skied down around that area and were playing in the meadow.

Haha! That's what a triple Americano will do for you... Definitely nice to meet you up there. Looks like you guys had a good one.

We skied out of the north gate just past the ramp today. Seemed relatively stable, though we stuck to pretty low angle areas for the most part.
