Why does it have to snow on the weekend?

Thinking about heading up tomorrow. Is it super tracked, or is there still enough snow to justify bringing out the pow skis?

    GO SKIING, single.

It is so damn good, and still snowing when I left the griz at around 5. So light, so fluffy...

    yes. and it was epic.

today definitely did not suck. nor did yesterday. today was deep.

saw someone with billygoats wearing mostly black yesterday, they were killing it standing in the powder park lift line.

    Stupid job...

I am going to be up there tomorrow, get out of class at 8:50 AM and skiing til 2ish. If anybody is going to go up and has the ability to procure/use a camera, hit me up and lets do a TR. Hoping to do something stupid because I am more or less healed up from my last poor decision.

Yeah Single, your talking 2ft+ of 3%, it just fills back in on it's self.

Also there was muuuuccch that did not get skied. With the ridge open right away, and Slushies open people were spread out.

I'm sure you will get your share of pow in the face tomorrow.

    See you up there!

x2. I was really, really impressed that everything opened and stayed open all weekend. Visibility was terrible on Schlasman's yesterday afternoon and yet...
We heard you in our twilight caves, one hundred fathom deep below, for notes of joy can pierce the waves, that drown each sound of war and woe.

FKNA, first tracks down the south facing slope into the gut. How did that hold out for so long? And that air is now like 3 feet. That thing got small quick.

Still lots of fun to be had up there.

Has anyone here ever hit the cliff that is lookers left of sixth grade, just directly to the left of it? I was scoping it out today, but figure the landing should stay good for the next day or two. Looks like 40-50 feet if you hit it with any speed.

Still tons of great snow out there today. Anyone head over to the saddle area? Much more traffic over there than i thought there would be.

Yeah, there is a smaller part to the skiers left, but if you take off over the bush in the middle with speed it is maybe 30-40'.

I would probe around(you can get under pretty easy) not so much for rocks, but it can get really firm under there. A spine usally forms from sluff if that is soft go for that...I don't know what it is exactly, but the snow does not always stay as nice right there. See's some sun.

But hey fuck it, just send it

Sweet video, I like the different perspectives.

Had such a sweet day today, one of the longest pow runs I ever had. Lots of fun in lower elevation forests right now. Some great tree skiing out there, a nice way to spend a foggy afternoon.
