Damn- I knew I headed back to Colorado too soon. Should have left Utah and headed back north, not here. Bridger will have more open than Winter Park. Uggghhh- after seeing that email this afternoon, I may have to head back home next week if the snow levels don't change...

I just watched the video on the Bridger homepage. Nice stoke from last season.
I do have to say, though, that 80% of the skiing is a complete junk show. Most of the people seemed to be on on the verge of self destruction.

Workinforturns? with the Pink lady Praxis had a ballsy straightline though and The First line in the vid looked pretty fun.

So let's hear the report everyone. Or are you all too busy slurping beers celebrating the season opener?

For the most part, except for the straightline you tried to talk me into that resulted in your exploding out of a tree, you keep it up on the up and up.

After a 6 year hiatus, I'm back in Bozeman...for good (or at least for now).

Anyway, it was a good time. They have a pretty solid base, especially for November. Higher, more northerly aspects skied pretty well, but the snow was a bit heavy since it was old. But it looks like that is changing outside right now...

Hell yeah buddy, that was an awesome day. I'm feelin' it for sure right now. Good thing half of Jackson didn't show up cause I was lovin fresh lines off the ridge all day. Like old times up there.

Not bad for a 3" day and a 30" base.

^^^Bring 'em a sixer of somethin tasty!

Beware.... some shop dudes will only accept good-quality beer. Weisner will only take Moosehead, for example. Ha.

Nice work this weekend tone and pnut, by the way. I love seeing good BB photos.

Amazingly, it felt like a midseason pow day, except without the crowds.

Went today, first third of the bowl was good chalk, challenger not too shabby either in certain areas. Worthwhile with rock skis. I heard that they're gonna open Liberty Bowl and the Couloir. I'm gonna try and make it down Wednesday and Thursday again.

Skiing was good, a couple inches of fresh. -11 in the parking lot this morning. Liberty Bowl is open, fun, but could use more snow. A patroller was skiing Big Couloir around noon, but it still looked kinda thin. I guess they opened it later in the day?
