Damn- I knew I headed back to Colorado too soon. Should have left Utah and headed back north, not here. Bridger will have more open than Winter Park. Uggghhh- after seeing that email this afternoon, I may have to head back home next week if the snow levels don't change...
I just watched the video on the Bridger homepage. Nice stoke from last season.
I do have to say, though, that 80% of the skiing is a complete junk show. Most of the people seemed to be on on the verge of self destruction.
Workinforturns? with the Pink lady Praxis had a ballsy straightline though and The First line in the vid looked pretty fun.
any students or any bozmanites for that matter want to give my buddy who is an MSU student a ride to a storage place in bozo and then to ups or somewhere. hes trying to ship my board and gear but needs a car. ill pay for gas and then some. pm if interested in helping thanks. 30+ inches in 48 hours and no gear. THANKS!

So let's hear the report everyone. Or are you all too busy slurping beers celebrating the season opener?
After a 6 year hiatus, I'm back in Bozeman...for good (or at least for now).
Anyway, it was a good time. They have a pretty solid base, especially for November. Higher, more northerly aspects skied pretty well, but the snow was a bit heavy since it was old. But it looks like that is changing outside right now...
ridge open ??
Ridge has been open today(Saturday 11/28)
Buy the ticket...take the ride.
Awesome uncrowded pow skiing today. Here are a few shots of Tone Capone.
Thanks for a great day.
Hell yeah buddy, that was an awesome day. I'm feelin' it for sure right now. Good thing half of Jackson didn't show up cause I was lovin fresh lines off the ridge all day. Like old times up there.
Not bad for a 3" day and a 30" base.

Lone Peak December 2
Skiing was good, a couple inches of fresh. -11 in the parking lot this morning. Liberty Bowl is open, fun, but could use more snow. A patroller was skiing Big Couloir around noon, but it still looked kinda thin. I guess they opened it later in the day?
