ugh, staying up late partying is not a good way to prepare for hiking up bridger. the snow was pretty good though.

I heard the same dirty rumor.

Powder Park was running on Sunday and skiers were being loaded. Word is that it was ski school and that they are on 48 hours notice to start work.

Anyway, skied fingers meadow and some north facing trees off PK. It was tasty.
We heard you in our twilight caves, one hundred fathom deep below, for notes of joy can pierce the waves, that drown each sound of war and woe.

Will probably be going solo tomorrow, so if you see some kid struggling to get up the hill with a red jacket, grey pants, white helmet, goats, fritchi's, wookey pack, etc. say hi (I think I'll enjoy the excuse to take a break ).

Really great snow that we picked up this weekend. Crazy skier, are you skinning? Check your PM's. Still plenty of pow that needs to see tracks.

Here's the official word: open Friday for Season Pass holders only from Noon to 3 pm with Quad and Bridger lifts only. Saturday and Sunday open to public from 10 to 3 with all lifts EXCEPT Schlasman's, Deer Park and Virginia City open. Tickets over the weekend are $37 and midweek passes will be honored over the weekend. Jim Bridger Lodge cafeteria and Faceshots open over the weekend, not many other skier services offered but what do you care about that, anyway?! It's on...go get after it!
    Buy the ticket...take the ride.

Watch the fuck out for lurkers, everyone! The base is solid for how early it is but it's not yet time to shred at full speed. Save your knees and faces from early-season sharks!

There will come a time for radness...
