Some great work in this MPC. I was really hoping people would get out and pre-plan and put some thought into how to convey the sense of the theme with their images. I was not disappointed!

In light of the preliminary results, I'd like to humbly suggest closing voting tonight, so we could hope at having an active MPC over the long holiday weekend. Purely selfish interest here, I actually have a little time and may be able to do some shooting.

How about we give it 48 hours and close the contest tomorrow evening, and then require that the winner start a new one within 24 hours? That way it would start up Thanksgiving Day and we would all have the holiday weekend to shoot?

Tough choice between Hop's and Noonan's, being landlocked and loving an agitated sea I had to go with Hop's photo.

Sounds good to me. Should be some new places to shoot for those traveling which is always nice.

I honestly didn't vote for you, cause I didn't think it fit the theme as well as others (for some reason creepy =/= ominous for me,you nailed creepy though, but thats a sweet shot nonetheless. Nice work man.

I think that with a little tweeking MtCham's could've been sweet.
I went back and looked at it again and the subject was a spooky, but was lost int he brightness of the rest of the frame. Drawing the viewer's eye to the subject without as much distraction wouldn't been key.
