Kind of hard to compete with that nice fucking table.Decided to build a wall rack for my skis.
Made it out of a piece of oak riser.
Popped in some oak dowels
Used some oak stain with polyurethane in it
Mounted on the wall in the basement.. Nice !

Took me like 10 minutes to figure out how to change this shit
I got roped into building a fucking house again. But first we have to start with the garage.
From future front door.
Backside with covered area.
Details.
Here's a pic of me today on the garage roof looking at the Bitterroots. Gash Peak still holding some snow, as is Ranger which is just barely visible up the canyon right center (but clearly visible from house).

My wife and I built most of this, we had a guy cut the timberframe and install the SIP panels while we worked as his helpers, but pretty much the rest of it has been us and some help from friends. It has been almost 7 years so far and we probably have another 2 to go.
A very few Pictures out of the thousands

lean them against the wall or lay them on the floor
oh wow eldereldo. OK no neutron bomb for you
I've been building shit for the last three days straight, I'll try and get some pictures taken. Also, welding inside suck balls.
Eldereldo... that does look great! Always like the look of a well built foundation, the gentle flare there at the waist... Is a bit hard to see how it's built up top, love to see more pics of that.
But enough about yer wife, the house looks good too.![]()

Hey, I've been there!

Sometimes fear just means that you need to push your shins into the front of your ski boots and fuckin send it!
"Stonewall" Jackson's commission papers to be inducted into the United States Army circa 1846.
For a civil war collector. I designed and put this together.
Japanese rice paper hinges with rice starch mounting as the paper was nearly transparent. Burl wood frame ( ordered with burl on and cut to fit), 100% cotton rag mats for mounting, spacers and top mats. Museum glass.
A really fun piece to work on that came out great. And one of the oldest I have worked on. White gloves on all the time of course. On both hands.
