You are so blinded by how rad you perceive yourself to be that you can't possibly see the bigger picture. You are skiing at a ski resort, yet complain when someone else skis your line, doesn't do it the cool way, or lacks the skills and knowledge that only someone blessed enough to ski everyday could have. If you yourself were really so much more enlightened, you would just laugh knowingly at what you see below you and drop off the other side of the proverbial ridge into a perfect line, meeting your friends waiting below. But instead you buzz by the person wanting to know more about the mountains, who, until your outburst of aggressive profanity was probably having a great time. You are no better than that novice, in fact you are much worse. Perhaps you should hang up the sticks for something more fitting like being a used car salesman or meter maid, where you are offered a daily opportunity to attack the needy with your malicious, pathetic personality.

Sounds like the original poster needs to buy some skins and go for a long walk, or see the doctor about some valium.

If it was just that it'd be grand, but there are a whole series of traverse in between the two lines, not just one. One traverse line would be great, a thousand not so much.
Flying the Bluehouse colors in Western Canada! Let me know if you want some rad skis!!

Nothing about common courtesy and protocol and what the "skiers code" actually says.

How bout you, you got any stoke? I don't seem to recall you ever posting any

    Go fuck off.
Hey little prick with big fat skis, I do get it, and it is about common courtesy and protocol, but if you had any concept of the "skiers code" you wouldn't be a little whining bitch.

It's a big mountain, lighten up!

When I grow up I wanna be a "Serious Inbounds Skier" wow! I can buzz underling skiers and feel more important.
Just thought I'd copy and paste your lame ass comment that shows you have no clue what your talking about.

Here is the best part of our "Big Mountain" desecrated with diagonal traverses across the best lines to nowhere...
You should see how bad it is now a month later.
Picture about 5 more, trenched out and crusty.

It seems like a couple of rope lines and gate are in orders. That would solve the problem...

    What a concept.

As a normal person, I can see the frustrations of the purely rad [those born that way...kinda like Beethoven and what was in his head, one demonstration and it gets manifest to the world]. I know my life will be much different than yours, knowing full well the things that I will never accomplish.

The idea itself is rather retarded.

If you're at any Boyne Corp resorts, that's exactly what will happen...

    You mean this:

My 12 year old sister could ski that.

This dipshit uses jong-asswipes like you as gates...no 'traverse-worries' are for losers. I ski.

I slowed down once on a traverse and was yelled "Hey if you can't keep up, stay off"....later down the slope while the jong was gear-mining, I told him "If you can't fkkn ski, you shouldn't be here", as I buried him with a good plash as I passed.

If I want slope-side etiquette, I ski bc....no rules or jongs to deal with, once you gone a 1/2 mile.

and that's exactly the problem. you, your 12 year old sister, your mom, every gaper that plunked down their $199 for a pieps freeride transciever are skiing that.

Tone and many other skiers at bb are skiing the chutes above that. It'd be nice to not hit so many traverses at the exits of the chutes. it'd also be nice to know you wont get schmucked by someone traversing across the slope when you come out of the chute.

Flute, as of today. Traverses start at the gate, and end about 3km later at Lesser Flute, and are now around 50-70m / 160-240ft high.

Then maybe you find a place that is, as they say, less crowded.

A corollary would be complaining about rush-hour traffic while stuck in rush-hour traffic and insisting that you remain stuck in rush-hour traffic so you can complain all over again tomorrow about insisting on being stuck in rush-hour traffic.

    Yep, sucks.

no, that's not even a remotely similar example and just shows you have absolutely no idea what's being discussed here and why some people find it to be a problem.

it has nothing to do with the number of people skiing but instead on how they're skiing. granted, the number of idiots will always go up as the number of people involved increase, TGR forums over the last couple years for example, but the actual problem is not a function of the number of people.

in fact, the area at bridger being discussed really isnt skied all that hard. you have to have a beacon to get on the lift and the uphill capacity is only 500 per hour.

I have an idea. It's idiots complaining about idiots. 'Idiots' would be any number greater than one. So if you have two idiots or 500, they are still idiots.

Do I have it right , yet? Am I getting warm?

I tell ya, ya can't make discussion like this up.

seems to me like you're making it up as you go.

aint hard to simply take a contrarian position and any time someone shoots down one of your arguments you simply make up another.

All I have sed is that this idea is retarded. You demonstrate where I have deviated from it.

Yeah it sucks when people get out over their heads and ruins the experience for the rest...kinda like you in this thread. I can live with it, since it's the intranet. Sorta like playing frisbee in a dog park. If you are good you can avoid the shit.

    Chiao, baby.
