A nice mellow day with the crowds spread out. Got to relax and take a few pics.

Doze dropping off the top into some buttery turns:

Not a bad place to roll up for first tracks:

Dozy showing the gapers that this face is for turns, not weak ass traversing:

Good times before work. Maybe more tommorow?

Nice shots of King's! The Ridge proper has been skiing great (and so has Schlasman's)...seems to spread things out when both are open .

Tone- In that 3rd pic where's he's getting set up.
Do / Can you arc it to the right around the spine and into the gut, or drop directly in from the left of the spine? (Never hit Kings before)

That is the way josh took and the easier entrance. things are filled in pretty good up there for 60 inches.

drop directly in from the left of the spine?
This puts you in with more heat.

Got some interesting pics from today Ill throw up later.

    Edit for pics from today:

First of all, I noticed the "Life Flight" line Nick Baldwin wrecked in went down.
Was that one of you guys? Did the evil seed I planted take root? Whoever it was, SEEK HELP! You are out of your freakin mind.
Who ever it was minimized the size of the air by squeezing down this crazy exposed spine. I don't know if it was pretty, but it was successful. Props x10 to whoever hit that!

    Crazy.

So that got me stoked, and I carefully explored some nice leftover lines that normally I wouldn't be into with a 60" base, but my photos revealed things were good to go.

an altered image where you might make out a few of my turns in there. (you probably don't want seconds) Skiing down above that huge cliff was so tempting, maybe if I get a two weeks to live notice I'll send that one.

Some steep soft turns to be had in there, (for one person) and the sluff was like a waterfall!

Then I decided to have a poke down this one. Definetly scary, but fun to put some turns in there though. Wouldn't recommend seconds.

    Before:

    After:

Some other wicked stuff up there that might be fun!

No action, but hopefully you guys can appreciate the utility factor of the digi cam. It is an indispensible tool for scoping things out.

Just got back from wisconsin and am ready to fucking ski already.
    Sorry, it's been a long 3 weeks.

Look for me out there with white jacket and blue bros. Ask for change. Anyone else heading out for mid-week turns?

I'll pass on that. The apron below the chute is all chunder now. Chute was hit, too. Might be too intense of a ride out of there. Hopefully the evil high pressure that is coming doesn't set us back too far.

Well at least we'll have some time to let the snowpack settle and bond a little better than it has been...

    Nice pics, Lexi.

Yeah, I figure now is a good time to scope things out, take a few pictures of how things are looking. I want to be able to have that stuff in my head for when it starts snowing again. I find I need to study the pics to be sure of where I'm going and where the gnar is at.
