Nope, there were others of us there, if not many. My legs are torched from all that vert in funky snow after tele'ing all morning.

he didn't ski that line, he wrecked down that line. maybe if he was smart enough to check out the landing he'd realize there needed to be multiple feet of snow and it's only good on big years.

there's other locals that have stuck that line fluidly though, but not many.

yep, may have only gotten 4 runs over there, but i think i made the right choice blowing off the wednesday shit show for the slushman's opening today.

even got an elusive slippy sighting and made a couple runs with him.

    Can't argue with that!

sorry I had to bail Sir I had to be at a meeting at 12:30
I should have brought the rocket ships. Snow was nice that shit is filling in really well.
It was really only open for an hour? Tomorrow will be good then.

It was open for an hour in the morning and then they closed it for wind (along with dp, bridger, etc.) But they opened it back up for the afternoon. Definitely some tricky shit to ski once it was a little tracked out. But on the plus side the moguls have become significantly smaller... for now.

If any of you guys have a bsl close to 307mm and want to get out on some 191 on3p wrenegades, send me a PM. I'm out for the season and it would be good if iggyskier could hear input about them from a few more people.

No worries, man. J said he had to make the traverse of shame out of there for the wind hold after that lap anyways. Our timing was pretty good.

So I take it your visit w/ Dr. Campbell didn't turn out so well. What's the deal man? He told you not to ski the rest of the season? Fuuuck.

I would personally like to thank all the people that went to 15 dollar day at Moonlight.

Today was sick! Low vis, but hero snow and no one there. Me and my group got to take our time and find some sweet lines that hadn't been hit. Had to leave early, hopefully I didn't miss a late Slushies opening.....

Not the best day to stop for pics, but here is Doze rocketing out of a bombhole:

    Good times.

I was on my 188 megawatts for the first time this morning and was blown away. I don't think I've ever been on such a fun pair of skis.

They are not a true rocker (flat camber w/ huge early-rise shovel), but are mounted up at 324. You are more than welcome to give 'em a try anytime.

But, there were still to many who stayed behind to ski it when it did open. The que was brutal for most of that time. Good snow though and that shit will prbably be wind buff for the weekend crowd, enjoy it, there is throttle to be pulled now elswhere!

Nah, but my skis were in there last week for a couple days. I would be really surprised if 316 worked, but we could give it a shot.

Still fun pokin' around up there today.

    A little P nut action:

a fun little pocket leftover for me:

Skied a fun run on the northeast facing Mundy's, way better without the 300 feet of traverses. ( Nice that they are finally attempting to corrall the traversa-gapers over there. Huge thanks to Ski Patrol for that.)

It's a little belated, but here's some stoke from the storm at Bridger last week:

It was just like old times - long line on Bridger, slow-train up the Ridge and tons of nice fun powder. Aaahhh Bridger Bowl...

Nice, looks like you guys got your money's worth. Those rock band areas in Dick's are skiing great right now. That widow maker shot pretty good for flat light.
