Old enough to respect those who are older.

Old enough to know that testosterone trash talk is mostly bullshit.

Old enough to know my limits, and how to push them.

Old enough not to give a shit what anybody thinks about me.

Old enough to make women feel like women.

If your 19 or whatever you should be able to ski circles around 50 somethings.

I'm 36 and still try to fly off stuff within limits of stompage. But you should be able to out run me.

23 and I can ski circles around my dad and he is 53, but not very good.
So after falling asleep while watching the latest ski movies I dream't of dropping in on some of the steepest slopes coved in the deepest and lightest powder I have never found in my life. I awoke on my couch covered in sweat and my hart racing at what must have been at least 120 bpm. I LOVE THIS SHIT!

Rode skis with Tyrolia, Cubco and strap bindings as a kid. Owned an original Snurfer. My Tommy Sims Signature board is still in the quiver.

Since you asked, here is an answer:

Misspelling simple words is a sign of carelessness and inattention. Some older guys (20?!) have jobs or are involved in activities like mountaineering and backcountry skiing where sloppiness, inattention, and not giving a damn are just not tolerated.

Anyone too stupid or inattentive to know the difference between "waist" and "waste" is not someone I want belaying me or holding a beacon while I ski something dicey.

Definitely a concise answer with much truth to it.

15 (actually, almost 16) years older than when you first read this thread!

    Scary, eh?

Your real age is 70 minus the number of musicians you recognize playing at Coachella 2025

^^^So true. I’m 59 by that metric. I didn’t recognize a single act after the second lines. And I had my reading glasses on!

    Old Mags are truly Amazing!

Last season I was lapping west face at Alta on a pretty sick powder day. High T was pretty f'd up and not many were going out to that face. Was pretty happy with my performance, I noticed I was keeping pace with 2 trollers and we kept crossing paths as we hit the entry each lap. When I skied with other mags, later on in that area, the Old Maggots were way faster then the Trollers i was pacing myself to!

keep it up you sickies, ya'll got some serious skills
