One of the bigger seasons in Tahoe in the last 8 years, it was baking hot in October, and then in early November the season opened with a 5 foot dump that began as rain/slush mixed and slowly lowered the freezing level to 5,000 feet.

Just saying, it literally came overnight.

Pretty mild up here in Whitefish. Full fall colors everywhere. Daytime temps ~68f, nighttime temps ~33f.

Soon come say rasta! Soon come.

I'm kinda diggin it. Every other year, the weather gets just nasty, and theres a couple weeks where theres not enough snow to ski, but too much to mountain bike or do anything else outside, so I just go stir crazy siting inside trying to come up with ways to stay in shape.

Being able to go on big long mnt bike rides right up until the start of ski season is pretty awesome. I'm sure when winter does come, it'll hit hard.
