Hurrah I've been pining away until I had a dogster of my very own and could finally contribute something worthwhile to this thread other than "cute!" requests for more pictures of all of your furry four legged guys.

Meet Linus, he's a 5-year old rescue pooch who was found living the high life in a dumpster behind a grocery store in West Virginia. He now lives with us in Manhattan, and has a penchant for eating garbage. Lots of garbage. We can't get too upset, however, because that's how this little guy stayed alive for all of that time!

He has had most of his teeth pulled, so we call him the Toothless Wonderpup. He's got a very friendly, happy-go-lucky personality which is amazing considering everything that he went through.

Hey, HEY! Where are you going? I'm coming! I've never seen this ocean stuff but I'm following you.

my roommate has the same (almost) mix, except a regular german sheppard, so the puppy is brown instead of grey. but hes got the bluest eyes ever. is yours a ball of energy also? cause his just keeps going and going...and hes just 5 months right now.

    sorry, no pix.

this photo is awesome! Did he jump up there or what? i am so jealous of dogs that get to play in the country. we try and give linus tons of exercise here in the city... i think our little guy would be pretty intimidated by a giant hay bale

Yup....as much as I've posed him like the geeky dog owner that I am, that one was completely his doing. And it was more of a climb up than a jump!

Great looking dogs everyone. I want a dog soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo bad, but I live alone and travel about 15 weeks a year. I don't want it in the kennel that much and with skiing most weekends Oct through June....just not sure it would be fair to dog. Oh well.

I got my dog back yesterday!!!

She's a year old GSP and went to be trained up five weeks ago. I missed her like mad and was worried about her settling in back home.

I didn't need to worry, we lit the fire and she soon crashed out having eaten well. She's now hunting up game in good control, retrieving live and dead game to hand and easier to walk with in general.

She's so skinny though... I think she got worms. She certainly has flees, so it's a bath and pill later.
    Not around much these days.

From a little fall foliage hike Saturday. We had 7 doggies.

I think Baxter is happy to be with his buddies.

FOund out my friends clinic just took in a momma and her litter. The mom is an aussie sheppard mix and the dad was probably a pointer. Apparently the puppies lok just like my dog only in chocolate. i still haven't gotten to see them, but i want to, it will be a blast from teh past to see my dog as a puppy again.

also, if anyone is looking for an aussie mix, hit me up, they are in NorCal
