    Thumbs up

I'm all "Awwwwwwww!!!!" over Dude's pics! Seriously man, what a super great dog you've got.

Looks like a FUN mini--and so sorry I was lame and had to miss it. I still have my Mammoth voucher. Hope to try it out next year as my life situation should be quite different by then.

Nice to see some familiar faces, and I've been enjoying the pics & reports from the sidelines. Thx for sharing!

    The Turx & Cinders Show...

Here are a few of Turx and Cinders.

Perhaps not as hot as Dookey's rendering above, but here's Cinders shredding the pipe:

    And Turx takes his turn:

Breakfast of champions on Chair 2 first run of the morning on Sunday:

Classic Mammoth Tourist Pic with the Mammy himself in the background:

And finally, a lovely one from Saturday night. We went to Crab Cooker but got beat there by some jackasses who refused to leave. This pic from the turnout before the cooker, overlooking the water source and the white spot over Turx' left shoulder is the cooker itself.

    Thanks Sinecure!

I was beginning to think that nobody noticed the fine detail and excellent composition that went into my renders.

Some people own dogs, but not people like Bodhi. There is a even-up relationship there, they are a team. I don't see this with many dog/people combinations, but it is there with those two. It is great to see, and I have know doubt Bodhi would go to the ends of the earth for Due, and Dude would do the same for Bodhi.

This pictures says it all. Bodhi and Dude

We noticed I called Cinders and got her to take a look. You totally captured the way her dreadlocks move
Now you can PM our newest member Dreadlock Cinders...

    One cool thing I noticed.
Very few of us are photo-sluts, and some of us are a bit self conscious about our skiing abilities, or lack thereof...But all of us felt totally at ease skiing while everyone else watched. Pretty Cool

I didn't think that was me, the technique was entirely too good.

I have no clue how I missed this the first go around, definitely funny as hell.

And yes, I love my dog more than anything on this planet...I get separation anxiety if I am apart from him for more than a couple days, I am pathetic, but I am happy.

    naw that ain't pathetic.

i had a cat named Little Jo whom I loved more than anything on the planet. In fact I lost a few GF's because I took better care of her than them.

she lived with me all through college and then i dumped her off on my parents (they lived on 1/2 acre in the rural suburbs). i would visit my folks every weekend just to see Jo. My parents even knew this and were rather hurt by the fact that if my cat wasn't leeching off of their kindness that I'd be a prodigal son.

i cried like a little baby when i had to put her to sleep a few years back. i still get welled up if i think about her during certain times. it doesn't help much that my pops made a photo album of her that he gave me after the ordeal.

it's sorta strange to get more attached to what is conventionally considered a pet than to people in your own species category, but i think it's also natural and sometimes easier to relate to a dog/cat etc than it is to relate to some people.

anyway, i didn't get to bond with Dude too much, but he seemed like a cool and easy going bloke. the simple fact that he didn't bite me or anybody else at Ft. FKNA and was quiet (unless prompted to bark by his buddy Bodhi), was an added bonus. And he seemed to enjoy hanging out with the rowdy crew, which is another bonus. And it looked like he enjoyed the corn, too.

Looks like I might be in Colorado for the whole summer, so I am planning on throwing a big pool party at my pad Saturday, May 31st...booze, beer, wine, reggae music, half naked people, wet dogs, wet kitties (pussies), steaks, bbq, chix, all-u-can-eat gummy worms, booze, chips, salsa, dips, fire pit, beer, wine, cheese, crackers, Blue Margies, 'Canes, Absinthe, Jager-bombs, swimming, booze, beer wine, whippets night swimming, tiki...

Be cool if you and Lego and any other maggots and friends who would like to come show up--I have extra beds, couches, floor space for all to stay the evening with me and The Dude. I will even make everyone French Toast and bacon in the morning for breakfast.

and nice to see that while we were hurling and burning down the forest at Ft. FKNA all y'all's were playing drunken monkeez.

Love all the drunken Uber shots, being successful with the monkeys. Great shot of Captain Powder with Cinders! And, I do believe this is the first picture ever, of me, on TGR, on my board.
