I had a 226 and didn't like it. It was the stamped slide W. German version and the retention pins kept walking out on me. That and the bore axis was too high. And it would start to jam after 600 rounds or so of not being cleaned (1/2 a pistol class).

Got me a CZ and sold the Sig. Doesn't jam, doesn't bobble, low bore axis, solid design.

Are you the board moderator ? For some of us this is a firearm terror thread. It's truely scarey that this level of arms are out there in the hands of the great unwashed skiing community. And not a single gun lock in sight I choose to engage with facts and you respond with emotion. Meanwhile 206 blunt force homicides in 2005, less than 40 vehicle homicides, over 12,000 firearm homicides.

This is why I cringe when I think of people like you voting, because your opinions are based on emotion, and not logic or practicality. The fact that the emotion is an irrational paranoia makes you ranting hysterically horrifying.

But hey, Its your right to vote, and I wouldn't even dream of infringing on that in any way, even though I'm not sure where willfully ignorant voters, both right and left, like you are doing with this country.

If you're terrified by the knowledge that people have guns, then you're terrified with reality. Maybe you should seek help. Or at least people like you should make an effort to not live in the most dangerous places in the US. I have a very anti gun friend who lived in philly for a while, and refused to move somewhere less violent. I think you have no right tp complain about guns if you live in a hell hole like that.
