Everyone I spoke with that hit anything today (the cave, breakneck cliff area, pucker, central, no name cliffs, etc.) the landings are PRIMO. Get scared, shit I'm already scared for you. Oh, and it's supposed to keep snowing.
Sweet TR. Thanks for the info. I didn't sleep much last night. Hopefully we'll cross paths up there in the next few days. I'm guessing we'll ski Jackson on Monday and Tuesday. I have a feeling Jackson will be a zoo on Sat/Sun by my inability to book a room in the area (full all over the place).

    Yesterday was day 100.

It was a great day. Two years ago on day 100 my car got stolen.

    http://www.tetongravity.com/forums/s...t=100th+stolen

It was much better than that day.

Finished up by going to see Steep as a family.

But I have to ask: What was up with the kids running around the stage during the movie??? Very distracting.

    Agreed.

But it is the single biggest $$$ weekend in JH. After a meager (at best) season last year, I'm glad to see the local business killing it just as the season ends.

Even I'm going to watch the circus from the lift today. 600 lb sled tumbles down the King as guys are jumping in front of it trying to stop it.

    Hilarity ensues.

    moments from yesterday...

    Shroder front flipped the cave.
I ran up to pucker for my best run ever on it.
ran back up to get in Central.
Tierney skied Talk is Cheap into Igneous Rocks. Good God.
People were tearing apart Once, Twice, and pretty much everything in between.
Ski flying types were launching/falling. Gnarrrly.
I went for a backflip off No Name cliffs and turtled the landing.
Jeremy (that coached Sickbird Lars back at MRG) launched the mondo cliff skiers left of Breakneck.
Kush launched 80ish to sketchy landing.
Skiaholik put up a thread about his day with some pictures.
I have no pictures, I'll try next time.
    Time to ski more.
It's cool ending each day feeling like I want to hug everyone I see.

the mountain is not a zoo at all. all the rooms are booked bc of the slednecks in town and they're all drinking bud light down at the snow king and not skiing. consider that skiing on tuesday afternoon might possibly involve drinking, if you are planning on skiing with any of the JH mags. remember everyone....don't drink and jump

I just got off the hill and it was pretty empty today - partly from the fierce weather, but I think there just aren't that many skiers around. I wouldn't worry too much about a zoo tomorrow.

Not a lot of clearing in the forecast, except for tonight. Tuesday's probably your best shot for bluebird.
