Indeed. Just dropped it off for the 600 mile service, so no riding today, but the weather has been great around here. So stoked to be out riding. If any other Utards want to ride, let me know. I'm all about it.

Hey Yetiman.....how do you like the Magna? I am looking to pick one up this month or early next. Looking for something fun to take on some of the twisties of CO, but still good for touring the west (Wyoming, Montana, Utah, Idaho, Washington....etc.)

PM me, let's go for a ride sometime.

Just took the GSXR 750 out for about a 200 mile ride last weekend to break in the new rear tire.

You gonna be at Miller at all this year? You, Big Blue and I should go terrorize some canyons this season...

    hydroplaning...

gretch....I liked it a lot. quick, reliable...nice sound. I rode that bike across the country and back...I actually accomplished what will probably be my most amazing feat in motorcycling: riding straight from Iowa Falls Iowa to Taos NM with only gas stops 1000ish miles in 30 or so hours on that bike.

I'm going to sign up for the June 2nd trackday, which is the day after the World Superbike races. It's on the same 3.1 mile perimeter course that the WSB riders are using. A couple of friends are joining me.

I might also do the April 26th day on the East course.

Unfortunately there is no Race 2 Save Lives event this year at MMP. That was a great event last year with the full 4.5 mile course.

    Anyone else interested? Phunk?

Cool, that is kind of why I am looking at one...I want to drive it all over the west and since they are pretty reasonably priced....I can just rack up thousands of miles without any worries.

I saw someone took a tank off of a Valkyrie and moded it to fit on a magna...I wonder what this kind of thing would cost since I don't have a welder. That is the one thing I don't like about the bike....it needs a bigger tank! What is the range like 150ishh???

I guess I don't really know off hand. It's been about 6 years since I sold it. I used to ride a few hours and take a gas break. It never really came up as an issue.

Fuck, I wish I had my bike out here. Poor bastard has been collecting dust since I left.
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.

Yep tassles are coming off. Or I could leave them on and put some playing cards in the spokes! Tassles coming off, chroming out the handlebars.

So, I've been looking high and low for a Ducati 916. The one on craigslist in DC is perfect, but too damn far away.

Anyone driving a truck from DC to Colorado?
I'd buy a 1098, but I'm not sure how I'd feel making payments on a $15,000 loan, when I could only ride it half the year. Decisions, decisions.......
May ride my FZR out to Vegas here in the next week, pretty stoked on that.

I think that just means mine makes more noise, leaks more oil and vibrates more!
