    Prostitution in Mt. Towns...

    What is the deal?
I was discussing this with other long time JH locs, and no-one had ever heard of any solid, reliable info, just second hand stories. It's got to exist...who knows about this, the concierges?

Believe me, I am NOT in the market. This Q came up from a bunch of rich, rowdy rental customers who were 'joking' about it, and all of us rental jockeys were left scratching our heads (as it were)
Who knows about this...here, T-Ride, Park City, Aspen, CB, etc? (Tahoe would be a no-brainer)

    Thoughts?

Maybe a good career choice for an 'up and coming' ski bum, methinks!

My best guess is that it's imported from other places. Like a guy from NYC brings it in, or makes a call to Vegas.

There are like 3-4 escort services listed in the local Aspen phone book.

There are rumors of Idaho Falls stripper services, but no confirms.
Could you imagine what one of the hot little S. Americans or Eastern European college kids could make?

NOT that I am endorsing this, it is more along the lines of 'short story' development...

Does that mean the cougars are ... amateurs?

I got flagged down by a couple of Native American girls a couple years ago over by the supermarket, they were offereing their services, I explained that I thought they were beautiful and I'd love to be with them but I was married and I didn't want to fuck that up, so they produced some cheeb and I had beers and booze and we partied in the little condo I had for a while and we had fun and then they left.

So yeah, prostitution definitely exists in Whistler, but that's as close as I got to it. Damn they were hot, sometimes I wish I wasn't so honorable.

wasn't there a comedy routine by somebody, uh, Cheech and Chong, Moranis on SCTV, Carlin, where they went off on all the names, about 20 years ago? I gave up on keepin' up when they invented Chronic.

Probably about six or seven years ago, when I was in high school there, one of these escort services got busted for being a bit more "full service"

Now, if that were the only issue, I bet the cops would just look the other way. What made this special, was that they were using a bunch of 16 and 17 (and maybe younger) girls from the high school.

Of course the papers wouldn't release the names of the girls, but all the kids in the high school knew who they were. It was just obvious.

A couple years ago, I run into one of these girls at a mostly S. American seasonal worker's type party, and this girl, who I had never really gotten along with, comes up and give me a huge hug, pressing her titties all up against me, just short of dry humping me. I figured she was just drunk, and maybe hadn't seen anyone else we grew up with in a while or something, but then she whispers in my ear (just about making out with it) "Hey, you got any coke?" in an oh so seductive voice. I said "No. No I don't and I don't have a clue where to get any." She disappeared before I could finish my sentence. I later heard she was living in a nearby apartment, and wasn't really paying her rent in cash.

So yea, theres prostitution in ski towns.

wherever there's a market for anything somebody will find a way to provide the services. Given that there's typically plenty of money in mountain towns there is going to be prostitution. Hookers are everywhere. Could you imagine areas like Vail, Breckenridge, Park City, Whistler without hookers? There's ALOT of money to be made.

If some of the best times of my life were skiing the UP in -40 wind chill with nothing but jeans, cotton long johns and a wine flask to keep warm while sleeping in the back of my dad's van... does that make me old school?
