That is quite a family quiver for sure!
Glad you spotted them! They'll probably see action next season. We'll carry on your tradition.

Seriously. Now imagine what it's like with twins. At least I'm lucky enough that one of the twins is about 3-4" taller and 1-2 shoe sizes larger than the other, but the bigger one is closing in on his big sister.

I feel for you. They also need different style stuff like boots. My 9 yr old - who's extremely strong and an aggressive skier and racer will get the stiff kids boots - while his 12 yr old brother likes the park and is lighter and not as much of a charger so he'll get the softer ones. And their feet are almost the same sizes.

It's incredible what you can find at the Goodwill for virtually no money. People donate some reaally cools stuff. Thank goodness!

AD is the master of the maggot bro deal! His quiver investment for the entire family is less than what some people pay for a full set of gear, with maybe 2 skis. SAC and maggot swap karma are great things.

In any case, if you're ever really in this situation make sure you at least bargain in a couple of fluffers.

He is indeed and has given me some great tips on shopping for kids stuff nationwide. The K2 Juvy's in the pic came from a Rochester NY craigslist posting (a screamin' deal) after AD helped me refine and focus my search techniques.

I probably should buy him a beer or three.

dude...I feel you. I caught a ration of shit about this year's purchases. Somehow 1 new pair for her and 2 new pairs for me she interpreted as unfair and excessive spending on my part.

No actually I think we mounted them +2cm the line looked REALLY back..

I was thinking they might be a little big, but im going to give it a shot, i dont charge really hard and have had good luck so far with the naxos (as you can see) so only time will tell.. I was actually just fondling them last night and feeling that weight....I got a buddy who rocks daimirs (not the burliest ones either) on big old movement goliaths and he seems to be ok. Those naxos go to a higher din....again we'll see I guess. :-)

    Good thought though.

This is as close as I get to having a quiver... 2 Nearly identical skis and a snowboard.

It helps to actually mount your skis with bindings. Ductaping your feet to skis is so yesterday..........

I'm still working on the binding thing, I've been snowboarding for a long time and decided to switch back to skiing this year. Last time I was on skis they were straight 215s, so I have some learning to do. Got both those pairs of skis for less than $500 total... Now i need to find cheap binders!

I prefer epoxy nowadays. A pair of boots for every pair of skis, then just glue 'em on....

Just curious, but what would make you decide to start skiing again? You make it sound like your going to quit snowboarding alltogether.
