I knew you were blood doping! There is no way you can ski that well for that long without doing some kind of performance enhancing. I thought it was EPO or HGH. But it’s been blood doping all this time.

Since a fractured knee cap has kept me from doing anything active since the end of July, I need to hit the gym. Hard. Because going out not fully recovered would only equal more hurt. Made that mistake before...

2 years ago, i broke my wrist. last year i (chronically) sprained an ankle and cracked my cocyccx. over the summer (dh bike) season i sprained my other ankle, cracked my elbow, and reinjured my wrist (off for xrays today).

so this season i'm going back to skiing to save on my ankles and boarding only on the big pow days. i'm going to try to stay on the piste more during the early season. it's just not worth clipping that rock in early december and having to sit out until feb (or worse).

helmet, padded shorts, knee and elbow pads, and wrist guard are all standard gear for me now. i may as well move it up to full upper body with spine guard too. fuck i'm gonna look like that robot soon.

Since I just shelled a shiload of money to rebuild my knee, I'm not going to be realyl aggro this season... at least in the beginning.

I'll stay out of the park and stop jumping from shit, until I'm sure my knee is 100%.

I'll also try to stick to using releasable bindings (teles or alpines) and generally just ski mellow stuff.

But the mellow slope and low speed are my enemy, that's how I fugged my knee in the 1st place.

Oh, and I'll be wearing a brain bucket provided I have enough room in my luggage for it.

i will try to get into the crazy crazy ideas of senór munter and his freaky avi friends a bit more, so i can remember more than just the golden rules and be able to actively adjust my risk assessment while out there. (meh...asses asesss asssesssssss there must be another s somewhere, right?)
Especially on the pushing it side since skiing North faces above 40° is almost always a big NO, NO in methods like 3X3.

and yes i'll be metal gear solid as well.

Hey minddoc. Sup? I would just like to let you know that every fucking thread you make is the dumbest shit i've ever read in my life. Last thread you made I was positive was the dumbest shit ever. But I was wrong. Way wrong. This is, in fact, the dumbest shit ever.

    Lani,

I'd really like to hear Sky's take on this. Any chance he'd have notes posted anywhere

The picture pretty much says it all.

I could make a webpage of it... after the event.
