Why are you still asking the question?

Between your first post and your second there were 4 responses with what you were asking for. How much more do you need? In an 11 month old thread, do you really expect everyone to respond again? Or go back and edit in these details?

You got the nice answer from Girlski. It wasn't the point of the thread. Our responses are not rooted in sensitivity about our bodies, you're getting JONGed because you insist on asking your question again after it has been answered for you. Every single person who responded with details is taller and heavier than you.

Good for you. Post some stoke JONG, all the other maggettes have.

If you know your history, then you would know where you coming from, then you wouldn't have to ask me, who the heck do I think I am.

Getting this back on track...I don't know why I never posted to this thread last season. I won't be adding to my quiver this season. I'm happy with what I've got, but the Salomons are starting to wear out.

167 K2 Phat Luv with Naxos (the green model, it's a few years old now)
165 Salomon Scream 8W (everyday ski)
168 Salomon Equipe 10 3V race (rock/iciest East Coast days)

I plan to demo a lot this season. There are a lot of new and innovative designs out there now.

NO ONE is going to expect that there are two people sharing a user name. I had no idea that was the case and I'm probably here as much as anyone. There's an easy method of us understanding who posted what - you get your own user name.

Well, get over it. Even if you had all that info, unless you've seen the maggettes in question ski in person, know their style and ability, where they ski, what they use each ski in their quiver for, what their body type/build is, etc. - it's just a bunch of numbers. If you're looking for a height/weight ski size chart, go find one. If you are wondering if you should be on the same ski as Bklyn, you should go ski with her and then you'll know. I've skied with many, if not most of the women who posted here, and just knowing what they're on is useful. (Though not nearly as useful as knowing what types of skis and lengths I know from experience that I like personally). Knowing height/weight/ski/ski length of random people is honestly fairly useless info.

Not to mention, this is an old thread and it's pages of info that's now probably out of date. I haven't even bothered to search back and see what I posted last year or how accurate it is.

But anyway, this year I'm on:

    185 Praxis
    183 Gotamas
    178 Hippy Stinx (tele)
    175 i.M.88
174 Phat Luvs (touring - though I'm planning to sell those, put the touring bindings on the 167's in hopes that kick turns will be easier with the shorty skis and my knees will like that better.)
160 SX-9 (which hopefully will not see any use at all this year, unlike last year where a cheap pair of ice skates in the shape of skis came in handy.)

And yes, I'm bigger than you.

This year, Ms. Schindler is riding:
    167 Phat Luv w/ NX21
    168 AX4 w/ P12
    165 M:EX w/ Neox 412, and

Bklyn: If you're in UT this year and want to try out a pair of 179 Brohemouths w/ NX21, give me a shout out.

Basically lightweight Spatulas - that had a pre-order deal for like $400. And in addition to the lighter weight, they come in several lengths and graphics to choose from. Yay!

    From Praxisskis.com:

Continuous Curves Rocker: The rocker has no flat spots. Instead it flows from a greater curve in the tip to a lesser curve in the mid and tail sections of the ski. This adds to the skis variable turn radius and allows the ski to dive out of a turn with a variety of projection.

Reverse side cut: Consistent reverse side cut for a smooth variable turn radius. Minimal taper in the tip keeps the tips on the surface and allows for easier traversing.

Bullet proof 9mm UHMW sidewall construction with a poplar and ash wood core

360 degree 2.2 mm edge. Thick and durable sintered bases.

The flex pattern has a solid oversized underfoot platform with short plush section in the tail and a softer tip. The tail makes the ski more forgiving and the softer tip makes the ski want to surface in powder when pressured.

Choice from 5 different graphics will be available on 07/08 models.

    Available in 3 Sizes

    175cm 117,121,111

    185cm 124,136,131

    195cm 124,136,131

Bigger titties, bigger ass, bigger thighs, bigger biceps... bigger skis!

This year I'm getting a 185 praxxxxxis. I might also get some 179 phat bros, just because I want them.

Some of these women are amazing skiers and if you do not know what to buy for yourself... you are not in their league. Do not compare yourself to Girlski, Kellie, SheRa, AltaGirl, Cloudpeak, Mtnbikerskierchic, Fineline, Monique, Lynx. Fuck name dropping. Do not compare yourself to US, any of us! Our personal choices are beyond your ken.

For the guys who are shopping for your woman, sister, mother; describe her and her ability, and I'm sure that someone who is similar to her will step up and make some suggestions. If the woman you are shopping for is a beginner, or intermediate, knowing our height and weight will not help you at all.
You are my new hero, oh yes.

    That sounds waaaaaay cool.

Maybe I'll trade in the spats one of these days. I want to hear how the skiing is on these first.

AG - You may actually see a pretty big difference in kick-turns, etc with a shorter ski. I went from a 174 K2 Dawn Patrol to a 170 Verdict at the end of last season for touring and I was shocked at the difference. Weight and pure skin-to-snow surface area probably had more to do with it than anything, but I was amazed how much easier it was to whip those Verdicts around a tight switchback. I thought the 170's would be a little short for me, but they've been great. I'm not much of a powerhouse skier though, especially in the backcountry. It's all about cadillac powder, baby.

I didn't know you tele'd! I just started learning last year and I hope I have time to improve this year. Have you ever done a clinic up at Alta? I was considering it this year...

Yeah, I don't tele all that much, but I did a semi-private lesson at Alta once (group lessons where there ended up being 2 people), and a 2 day clinic at Snowbird - like 3 years ago? I'm halfway decent on consistent snow and I suck in crud/crust/ice patches/etc. But let me know when you want to tele and I'll bust out the gear and go with you! It's fun to play around with anyway.

    This season I'm on:

167 K2 Mt. Baker / salomon bindings (alpine)
167 K2 Mt. Baker / fritschi explorers (randonee)
179 Bro supa-softs for the untracked pow

152 Burton Raven for when I knuckledrag

looking to get some 169 Bro stiffs sometime this season as well. I looked hard at the K2 Coomba, but the SAC deal for the 2nd pair of Bakers was too good to pass up.

I don't really ski much at all, but I always have a good time flopping around the hill on tele gear!
