Then why don't you sack up and take Stanford and the 17.5 points?

    Its PAC 10 Time

Lets take a look at what's interesting in the BEST CONFERENCE (all you SEC hicks can go choke on a corn cob or have sex with your sister)

    Hmmmmm....

    Cal +6 @ Oregon (yes, that's right +6)

    USC v Wash, the over @ 57.5

UCLA +1.5 @ Oregon St. and the over at 56....

ND + whatever points they are getting ... are we at +40 yet?

    They can't possibly go 0-5.

I'd bet all the dog fur on my floor ND goes winless this season. If they do win something it will be because someone took a dive.

If any of you are serious about losing your money, keep in mind:

Oregon leads the Pac 10 in offense.
Oregon has a strong secondary this year.
Cal's RB is playing through injury.
Cal will be playing at Autzen, one of the loudest and most hostile stadiums in college FB.

"Autzen Stadium is where great teams go to die" -- Lloyd Carr, 2003

So go ahead, bet on Cal. But don't say I didn't warn you.

    Further:

Kal has been playing poorly on the road (Colorado St. and all 3 losses last year).

Until the Kal Dline creates some pressure up front, their D will be vulnerable.

Oregon's D has played relatively well this season and right now their O is in a groove.

Kal needs to involve Forsett in the passing game- there's no way the Zero's LBs are going to match up with him.

When you can't make a case for the opposing team, that's when you know you made a good bet. Not sure this method works in college.

Both teams are scoring a lot of points and w/ the exception of the Michigan game, allowing the other team to score. Oregon is giving up about 50 yds more per game rushing than Cal; Cal is allowing more passing yards.

Cal's schedule, I think, has been tougher. None of the teams Oregon has played so far have team speed anywhere near Cal. That's where the difference will be.

Bama +2.5 at a "neutral" site game in Jacksonville vs Florida St.

Auburn +20 in the swamp vs Florida

The Bama game is unique, the strong part of the Bama team is the offense but the strong part of FSU is the D. Bama is weak on D but FSU is weak on O. I say take Bama for an outright win, but then again I am a homer.

Auburn.....a 20 point dog to Florida. Instincts say to take Auburn and the points as 20 is a HUGE number for a conference game. However UF got a scare last week and Auburn is the only team to beat them last year in a somewhat contraversial manner. Auburn can't score but has an pretty good agressive D. The Gators are weak on D but their Offense is crazy good.
I still say take Auburn and the points.

Not sure about that. I mean, who has Cal played really? Tennesse? Is that what you're getting at? Tennesse is ranked lower than Michigan. Or are you trying to claim that Colo State, La Tech, and Zona are better than what Oregon has played Houston, Fresno, and Stanford? I'm not buying it. Zona and Stanford will battle it out with Wazzu for the last three places in the Pac-10. so pretty much a wash there. Houston won their conf last year and IMO are better than CSU. La Tech??? Nuff said.

You're right though...this will be the best team Oregon has played...but it'll be the best team that Cal has played as well. Cal is on the road and at one of the, if not the, loudest stadiums in the country. I think it'll be close. I wouldn't take Cal +5.5...way too many points.

Ah, another example of why I don't bet. I'm retarded. Still wouldn't take Cal though.

Ehh...AU had problems shutting down NM St. last weekend. UF slipped against Ole Piss, they won't be taking anyone lightly for awhile. Take the over.

Also, I'd take the under on South Carolina this weekend. Ms St. has a pretty good defense, and we're missing our all-american MLB with a torn ACL. It might be close.

Hehe... It was definitely an interesting weekend here in town.

Some USC fans running to bet second half @ -13 were cracking me up.

Even with all the college football upsets, Taylor/Pavlik was the best match on Saturday.
