    Question the perfect ski binding

i'm interested in problems and solutions with ski plates and bindings.

so, what problems did you ever have with your binding?
how should your perfect binding look like (functions, features, etc.)?

    Nice first post...

It should look like the LS9000 and have a precognitive release system.

    It must involve liquid magma.
And have a go-faster checkered stripes deco.

It was all a whirlwind; freeze and flash.
Within a week we had grabbed our skis and hit the road.

Some company made some bindings called "Speedpoints." You should try to find them. They're a bit rare, but they adjust to fit a wide range of boot soles with a twist of a dial. If you can find a set, BUY THEM, no matter what the price.

These bindings have "speed" in the name, which shows they were meant to be used when skiing fast. Proven technology.

That's a quirky American colloquialism. It's not used anywhere else as far as I know.

Alpenjodleri-than-most - I find the biggest problem with ski bindings is they catch on my bed clothes. My girl friend found a solution; she sleeps in the garage but I need to be closer to the toilet (weak blader).

So if you can make one with no 'catchy edges' and maybe with a nice fluffy surface (since we're dreaming we may as well make it comfortable and perhaps even fun) I'll buy 3. One for each foot and a spare for the car.

PS - my car's dark green. Can I get one in a matching colour?
