You all have valid points, I just wanted to make sure ya'll knew that that the first post in this was a pretty stupid question.

    I'm just sayin'
Yeah yeah, whatever... let's get back to the Jello thing.

(more pow for me!) )) I don't think it's relegious thing, I think it' s a money thing. For many folks it's just too expensive to outfit Mom, Dad, & multiple kids on one income, even if you do live here. I do however think it's one demographic that ski free after 3 appeals to..

This is the kind of answer I was looking for. I'm not sure if it's true, but it's not immediately obvious, at least to me.

Altachic, you seem to think that I'm assuming some sort of binary thing like "Mormons don't ski" which isn't the case. I admit the thread title is binary--which is why it also says to read the post, perhaps I should have clarified more. Really, I was asking whether Mormons are underrepresented on the slopes, and if so, why? Lonnie's answer addresses that question, but I suspect there might be more to it. Maybe not.

"Mormons" under-represented on the Slopes? Have you been conducting a slope side poll on religions and who gets to ski? I've noticed that not many Muslims or Jews seem to be on the slopes either because you can spot them from a mile away. I've also noticed that the underrepresented seem to be underrepresented on the slopes.

But the Mormons don't ski primarily because the special silk underwear garments they wear do not provide enough warmth. When it debuts in polypro next year I think you'll see a big influx of Mormons on the slopes.

Silk is a wonderfully insulative material...I don't believe that the MoMo undergarments are silk.
    Can anyone clarify?

momo garments are made of Kevlar and spun tears from converted third world pagans.
How else you they stop the evil spirits and sharp things I fling at them?

What the hell would "underrepresented" even mean in this situation? And from where would you derive an expectation of annual Mormon skier visits in Utah?

    ?

Just saying that, just because Mormons are a certain percentage of the populace in Utah, that doesn't mean they would be expected to make up the same percentage of skier visits. I guess you could first conduct polls to find the average Utard skier profile, then see how many Mos fit that profile, and go from there. Personally, I'm too busy drinking caffeinated beverages to give a shit.

I was thinking you should just sue and let a malleable pool of sympathetic jurors calculate your fee... erm... I mean the award
