    I've got a college buddy who HATED his vanity plate given to him on his 16th by his parents - BAKE1. But, since they were still funding he didn't complain to them - and he took a lot of crap from everyone.

    Time moves on, he graduates and purchases a new car... and get this, his fiance suprises him by transfering over the plates to the new car. Poor bastard - he is probably still holding it in so as not to offend the wife.

    Had to be the best non-personalized plate i've ever seen.
