Fuck, stupid Sabres and Rangers - why must they play in the playoffs. Vanek and Pöck would have saved Austria from being relegated in the World Championships.

Well, now that the damage has been done let's hope Vanek and the Sabres make it all the way to the cup.

Agreed. Now that the Sharks (my 'adopted' team) are out all that really matters is that the Senators get eliminated. Daniel Briere is the shit, and is really the only reason I hope the Sabres go all the way.

Let's hope the boys from BUF-FA-LO! carry on the tradition of Ottawa's underachievement. Something tells me Emery will find a way to lose . Either way, the Sens still suck.

The Sens will carry the Canadian flag all the way to a Stanley Cup victory, mark it!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"

    He just jinxed it.

The Alfredsson/Heatly line was unconscious last night. That was an exhibition of skillz - had Miller not been on his game (yeah, he really was) early on then the score would have been much worse than 2-0 after the first.

So much fun when the Sabres fought back. Unfortunately they seemed to be chasing the Sens all night rather than forcing the flow.

Seeing the Sens take the cup before the Leafs in my adult life (4 years old in1967) is downright painful but that seems to be coming closer and closer to being a reality. Go Sens ?

No. Embrace the hatred. Fuck the Sens, even if they are the last Canadian team in it. They won't win anyways.

Dammit all. What a great game, Hasek can really light up in the playoffs. Seemed like the refs called fewer bs penalties too. C'mon Wings!!!!!!!!!!!!

For all the Sens haters, how do you like them now? Let's see a little 3-0 after tonight!

that was a pretty shitty elbow to the head that pronger put on holmstrom. deserves some penalty, imo.

yup. thankfully homer is tough as fucking nails and came back to play. i still think that ProngHER and Niedermeyer should sit out Gam3 4. Homos.

Great game last night, btw. I left the Pistons game at the end of the 3rd Quarter to watch the rest of the wings game.

No shit. One elbow would have been appropriate, but double-teaming him? Lame lame lame. Most players would have been in the training room for the 3rd, not homer...But if they thought he was a pain in the ass in front of the net before...look out. Too bad they pulled jiggy, but i guess 3 goals in 23 minutes is kinda harsh. Pretty cool scoring on the other goalie in his first couple minutes! The Quackers better get some game on tomorrow, or they're toast in the Joe on Sunday [unfortunately my golf day].

Unfortunately I think there is about a zero percent chance that Pronger will get what he deserves (suspension). Neidermayer's (sp?) hit didn't even look that bad, it was that douchebag Pronger who got up high on Homer.
    What a dick.
Anyhow, it goes to show that skating around and hitting people doesn't win games if you've got no offense-which they didn't last night.
