Here's hoping Sens make it 3-1 tonight, that would be large....

I don't wanna jinx them, but it looks like they might actually make it this year, after years of blowing it, the sens look awesome when everybody has written them off. Remember the home & home between Buffalo/Ottawa this season were fights broke out everywhere???? If these two play in the east finals, it'll be a good one to watch.
In the west I like San Jose.
Always charging it in honor of Flyin' Ryan Hawks.
Sens make it 3 and 1 muthafuckers!
One more game and through...
I hate Detroit, but fuck was that a clutch goal.
Christ...I can't believe the 'Wings pulled that one off. Fucking awesome.
I listened to the radio feed on the internerd so I didn't see the Schneider OT winner. Sounds like it was a pretty cool play.
I'm a big Sharks fan, that one hurt a lot.

Whew! C'mon Wings...............[nice save Hasek...]

Growing up in Detroit, I am a diehard Wings fan. Loved them even when they were really bad.
That being said, what is Ron Wilson's deal? I know that he grew up hating the Wings, but come on. According to him, every Wing goal is due to a Sharks mistake. No kidding. However, the Sharks goals are also the result of the Wings making mistakes. Like Hasek passing the puck to a Shark.
I hear all the experts say that the Sharks are big and fast. I agree they are a very good team. However, just being big and fast does not win the Cup. Too often, I have seen the Wings loaded with talent and losing a series to an inferior team.
I think Wilson would be better off signing the praises of the Wings to motivate his players. He needs to get his players to play at the proverbial 110% level. Instead he seems to be saying, go out there and don't make any mistakes and the Cup is ours.
I would like to think the Wings have big mo on their side and will win the next two, however I think the series is a toss up at this point.
Go Wings!
Canucks got robbed... It just wasn't a very nice end to the series at all. Luongo saw that penalty coming and did neglect the puck, but it wasn't an honorable way to lose in any case.
Broadway Blueshirts 3-2 tonight...
not sure what game you were watching... goalie error. Luongo shouldnt take his eye off the puck because he thinks the ref might blow the whistle, not in a double overtime-you-lose-the-series playoff game. there were 5 players blocking his view and neidermeyer just lobbed the puck in to keep it in the zone. in hockey the more times you fire the puck on net, the better chances you have to score. the canucks got outplayed plain and simple. the ducks are faster, more physical and shot the puck on net more than twice as much as the canucks. it wasnt even a close series.

That was for sure a weak goal. Game's over 4-1, albeit Grier's penalty was extremely suspect.
its the whisky talking
Yea bitches
Sens send the Devils back to hell in five games and advance to the Conference Finals.

Yeah, that was a bad break for 'em. I've been in that spot tho in my goaltending days, and he was kinda screwed either way. Stay in the nets, it's a one on none coming at him, go out and hopefully just sweep/poke check the puck away, all is good. I still think he's one of the better all-round goalies out there. Here's to hoping Hasek keeps his A-game tonight!

Simply put? I was way off... See ya next year Rangers.
everybody ready for some of this?
'cause here it comes!
and on a slightly related note, I'd like to mention that I'm stoked about Bertuzzi, who is practically my twin....
and is killing it in the chase for the Chuck Norris Trophy for playoff beard of the year.
My own playoff beard is truly nappy. I've had to start keeping the fucker in line with Murray's fancy pomade.
That's until I get my order of Brothers Love
so's I can go for the full Lanny McDonald steeze...which is my plan. I will post pics this year. Woodsy can vouche for the unmitigated nastiness of my moustache growing skillz.

I've never been a Wings fan, but I'd love to see em advance just to see the Ducks sweep![]()
