Whorehey and I are thinking of hitting Solitude later today - anyone else going there?
We'll apparently be on radio 5-13...

Stop in the rental shop in the village and see if SkiFishBum is in there, I'm sure he'll be going out at some point if he's around. Skinny guy, probably needs a shave, he's the one in there who looks like a SkiFishBum. I doubt he'll be in the shop past 10:00, though.
Thx - we'll do that!
While you're in there give Iceman's Bromodels a pet (they're the ones in the window with the Fritschis.) I bet they're getting lonely by now....
If you haven't been there, the village is near the upper parking lot, so go in the second Solitude entrance and park there. Rental shop is right next to the ticket window.
Those poor Bros have been sitting in that window all winter, say hi to them for me.
Skifishbum is in Canadia.
The Bros got their attention - they were feeling a bit intimidated by the bigger brother standing next to them...
No Bros were soiled in the making of this picture
heh, nice pic. I had a feeling SFB might be in the Northland, he hasn't posted for a bit, but thanks for saying hi to my boys anyway.
So, how was the day?
The day was really friggin' GREAT!
This was my first day of skiing in Solitude; also in Utah actually. It won't be the last, that's for sure!
We spent most of the day on Evergreen peak, finding ways of avoiding involuntary hucks. I loved the terrain there - super playful!
The vibe is really cool - like the ski tech coming over to the Thirsty Squirrel with our freshly tuned skis, casually leaning them against the bar...
