anybody know this guy? (not recommended)

typical digressive nature of this thread may be a waste of time...So there I was, jostling for first car with a kid, so what else is new?....so anyway, he didn't have a board, he had skis (not skiis) and he talked like he was from NZ....I paid him no mind but then I noticed his bases were chewed and he said that hucking on the first run was the plan....I said "hey, I'll get a pic", to which he promptly replied that it was gonna be impossible, since he was gonna be down before me....gotta love that spunk....well, them's fightin' words so I exited the gondola at the top, ran all the way down the stairs, clicked and skated to the pressure frame line on Climax...(yes, Climax is now open)....and took it with only a few turns on my Titan Nine skis that have no bounds, and as I looked back from the bottom he still wasn't down....so I waited.....then we sailed to the bottom at mach lots, and there he said that maybe he would follow me this next run, since I may know where it's good....well, sandbagger that I am, I took him straight to Huevos and it is deadly off the top, but the Chicken Huevos side was worthy and so he took it, with fine style.....I only mention this since he said that he is a Teton Gravity New Schooler and sounded like he had done some time at Squaw or on the board, so I figured I would give a shout out to the foreigner with the obvious skills who knew where to be this morning....and as to his name, well, out west, none offered, none asked....

    Somehow, I doubt that.

I hear Str8line saying "get out of the back seat, take your hands out of your pockets and stop following your tips." All of which, I agree with.
A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. I would agree wholeheartedly, since Mammoth style is called schussing and gelandesprung, but it is Chicken Huevos, first tracks of the season...I guess you guys and gals are way rad....I hope to find Mr. Str8line at the front of the gondola line someday and I can show him the McConkey line in Star....I will video that one......

So what you are saying is you *deliberately* put your hand on his leg while taking his picture in the gondola. Sounds kind of soy to me. But what and who do I know?

I boiled my thermometer, and sure enough, this spot, which purported to be two thousand feet higher than the locality of the hotel, turned out to be nine thousand feet LOWER. Thus the fact was clearly demonstrated that, ABOVE A CERTAIN POINT, THE HIGHER A POINT SEEMS TO BE, THE LOWER IT ACTUALLY IS. Our ascent itself was a great achievement, but this contribution to science was an inconceivably greater matter.

Well, I hope for your sake that you take better pictures than the three you posted.

well that may be me...well not me but my brother, who moved to N zed when we were just tots: cause you see our parents were together for years after having met at woodstock back in 1968 and we had some happy years..but again I suppose you mention having a kid so you can understand the joys and tribulations(well as they say misery loves company) of child rearing and,, well intentionally or untentionally things got weird and the years drifted on and despite the fact that my bro and were like an anchor to the rusting ship of their marriage, but eventually even that wore thin and they decided to move on, after months and months of litigation, the infamous feces in a box incident and general acrimony/ they called it off in hope of a more amenable situation.
So Jongy went with Momma and Jerry went with Pops to N Zed in order to help stabilize both fams. Anyways it could be Jer as his hair seems a lot like mine and despite that sounds like his diction has obtained the taint of the underworld or old Middle Earth (ha ha - theres a lord o rings reference).

could be too because his skiing technic looks a bit like mine and despite the fact you knowing the terrain beat him down its not unlike us Jongy-genes to let the locals show the way. besides someone with your skills (skiiing and tiping intarnet posts aliging alike) would be hard to keep up with....unless one knew the area better than you and forsaw the appropriate line of descent.

well hope that helps...luv conversing jong to jong like this...its so stimuleting.
