Was already planning on heading up with a friend. Where were you thinking? Might be hard to find anything that hasn't been severely wind affected (unless it snows!).

I might, but I can't commit to it as it's only Friday and I don't want to miss a possible inbounds pow day.

No, and it won't. I predict a solid 2 inches from today through Sun.

Detsky, I am surprised you are committing so early to something that is around 48 hours away!

^^what he said. If no snow either a long tour or possibly sled tow-in somewhere in the area.

    Forecast for Ward on Sunday:

Was at Berthoud last Friday. It was crap. Hoping to look for low angle wind buffed pow up high or trees down below.

Yeah, Bert was brutal on Sunday too. We were also thinking wild basin in rmnp? The south side of the drainage might be alright (calypso cascade?).

How about now? Any interest in touring in the james peak, lost lake or buchanan pass areas?

The past couple of days all it's done is spit in my face on and off at Keystone. But often I look toward the Gore (with Vail beyond) and see storms stalled out and looking pretty strong and dark. My guess is there's some good new snow (6-12") with wind help in pockets off that way.

Apparently you missed my exhaustive review of James Peak.
