I'd have to imagine there were some other mags there.

Breck fucking sucked today. got stuck in a gondola from 8:40am to 9:30?? total mess - they did make nice and hand out free lift passes.

So windy and cold the whole damn place was pretty much shut down. Fingers and toes fully numb, we hit the hot tub w/ the kettle one.

oh, then the always fun 1:00pm 70 east parking lot because they shut down the tunnel to let the dangerous cargo trucks go it alone. that hosed traffic up something fierce.

lots of driving - 2 runs... ugh.

Summit and I took pics yesterday - was really hoping to see them this morning. Bluebird sweetness. I heart Vail.

Amazingly, it wasn't windy over there, just cold. When we came back through tenmile canyon, the car was just about blown off the road. Weird.

The really weird thing is that the NWS forecast called for exactly that on Sunday: big winds in Summit county, but light winds for Vail and Aspen. I thought it was just a mistake in the forecast when I read that, but I guess it's true.

Yeah Vail was good Saturday....Bluebird all morning.
Dropped a bunch of the rocks on lovers leap. The landings were super soft and I was the first to hit most of them. The side country off of Pete's Express was really good too. Northwoods was douched by the time I got to it...I never go out to Mongolia but I did Saturday and it was pretty deep in areas too. I made the mistake of dropping something near the lower part of Rasputin's and the landing was really hard/thin and I biffed it. But, a really fun day overall.

ABasin was incredible yesterday...not much wind, tons of knee deep powder. Pali was incredibly soft all the way down....
