    So what the hell happened?

    I've been trying to get on TGR all day! I kept getting error messages and it would shut down my IE. Anyone else having this problem?

    You must have some very special version of firefox. Mine was not able to magically resolve DNS for tetongravity.com during the period that worldnic.com stopped giving out answers.

    Our DNS (domain name system) nameservers went down. They are the things that resolve "tetongravity.com" into the numerical IP address that your browser uses to connect to our site. We switched to a different DNS nameserver (it wasn't ns61.worldnic.com this morning) as quickly as we could, but new DNS information takes time to propagate, as local servers update their caches.

    Sorry we weren't robuster. I doubt this particular problem will happen again.

    DNS hosting is dirt cheap. Might not be a bad idea to use several different providers.

    Actually, a quick google check shows a couple free backup DNS providers out there.
